Is it just me or does anybody else see that there is nothing special about Saw, the only access he has before now was speed which is no longer there so am struggling to see what he is good at, just my personal opinion.

Ive lost faith in shaw to be honest.
But you have to be fair to him.
He can't be truly judged until he has played 6 to 10 consecutive games. He has been out either injured or just not selected for 4 full seasons.
He should get a chance at the begining of the season if he does well young could end up rb with captain tony and dalot out. He is saying all the right things let's see if he can turn it around and earn his new contract.
Like many i have my doubts but its only 1 person he needs to convince and that's the manager. He will win his trust if he plays as well as he talks. If he comes in plays well stays fit and brings a new dynamic to that left hand side then he will prove his doubters wrong me included.

Jred haters is not the right term. Just because some people don't rate a player you do doesn't mean they hate him. and i agree he does get the brunt of a lot of jibes but nobody really hates any player none of us even know them.
He has been a disapoointment to many since he was a world record fee for a teenager.
He has been very unlucky with injury but also has not helped himself at times either.
Lets hope he gets the run of games that i agree he needs and can provide the solution to that dormant left hand side. If he comes in and provides the dynamic we have been missing the manager will be delighted i'm sure. i'm a doubter but if he is in the team playing well contributing and improving (like lukaku did throughout the season) i won't take much convincing. The door could be open for him let's hope if he does get the chance he grabs it and its the making of him.

I disagree pal, there is a reason United bought him and he was playing for England at 18 .
Lost his way a bit especially after the injury but the talent is there . Needs a run of games tho .

I disagree people come on a website slagging certain players off day after day year after year. It's a bit sad they would rather a long player left so they could say I told u so .
As if that's important, seem to be many? Hope the lad does well but you can see yourself and many really hope he fails .
There are some who just don't think he is good enough AAA for example but then there are other that just hate on certain players.

No issue with it you were just giving your opinion although they were players managers wanted desperately.
You called sanchez out as being poor a couple of weeks ago for his outrageous cost. Shaw was a world record at the time and he has been a big disapointment to many considering the cost its no different. He has not delivered anything like he should have for 4 years but because you think he is going to be a top player you treat him differently to players you didn't want. He has failed so far. Looks like he will get another chance he has to take this one. i'm sure if he does and excels he will change peoples opinion about him. I don't think he is good enough but if he proves he is then fair play to him.
Every single player is only as good as his last season so a lot of our players have lots to prove and shaw is one.

Not at all pal I don't think spending big on aging big names is the way to build a team but I certainly don't post day after day insulting things about ibra .
Did Shaw play well for example last week . Not imo or in many others but that's not the same as you and a few others who spend day after day looking for a reason to slag certain players off above and beyond performance .
I didn't call Sanchez out for his outrages cost I pointed out the club and board were clearly backing the manager and providing funds, as could be seen by Sanchez being the highest paid player in the history of the EPL.
If Shaw proves a few wrong most will be happy but there will be a few who just move there hate on to the next target .

Again jred hyberbole with the hate word.
It sums up your mentality and you are usually first in with the 'i told you so's' its the way you think and act.
If shaw plays well and we are winning and he is contributing then great i'm sure everyone will be deighted if he has another season like the last 4 then what's the point in him being here contributing little or nothing.
Not everyone in the squad needs to be a worldie but they should be making a contribution when called on. Shaw did ok last season when called upon but nothing like what he should be delivering for a world record fee.
Lets see if he turns out to be a success I've no issue with him getting another chance i just don't believe he will take it.
Not sure how many times you posted rose has only ever had 2 good seasons well that's 1 more than shaw. He is in last chance saloon at united if he takes the chance then everyone is a winner if he doesn't then we have to move on 5 years is a long time for a world record signing to try and win a place in the team.
Coleman had a leg break equally as bad and he came back flying. I know every player is different but patience has been shown by the club 4 years its time for him to deliver and repay the club by playing well.

If Shaw plays well judging by the comments yourself and others constantly make I would be amazed if some fans would be happy.

No body hate Saw, is just that Fb in this modern days do more than just defending, which we can’t even say he is very good at it, fb this days support attack, make crosses, dribbled etc i understand he needs game time and bla bla but to me game time can only improve a player and gives a player more experience to deal with situations but you most have the talent, mentality and the brain to be able to improve with game time, so the big question is doses he?
