Looks like Pogba has met with Barcelona. Eds, how much are Utd looking to get for him and would it all be reinvested in the squad?

If Pogba goes then the club is in one hell of a mess . The guys face is everywhere and wearing our great shirt. What is going on at board level the mind boggles. We should be building a team around him and if it were me I'd make him captain. You just watch Barcelona sign him when our window is shut 😲😲.

If he doesn't want to be here or wants to leave then he should go. Ed has explained that's the case so its not like he's being forced out by Jose or the board. Its sad that he doesn't want to be here but if its for personal reason then there's nothing we can do. If he thinks we can't match his ambitions that's a different matter. As long as we get a replacement in.

Pogba isn’t happy here, Jose isn’t happy with Pogba, the club are happy for him to move, his agent is trying to get him a move. If he gets a move, Jose might get to bring in a player more to his liking.

Ed, interesting that you say ‘the club’, as opposed to ‘the Manager’. Is there a specific reason the club are happy for him to go?

He didn't wamt us in the first place. He isn't happy, jose isn't happy with him. You guys are too emotional when it comes to players. No one bigger then the club, If we can get rid of him and get a replacement then it is good for the club.

I think its because he wanted Madrid but they wouldn't meet the asking price and only we did.

He wanted a move to Spain, and I think that he, his agent, and the club thought that he would raise his status (plus wages, and value) here and get his move in a few seasons. That hasn’t happened, and now it’s a case of his agent convincing a club to stump up a big fee for him.

I couldn't care less who leaves tbh I'm more interested in the ones who stay I have seen a lot better players than pogba and martial leave the club and will probably see a lot more.

Looks a talented lad, good age must be good commercially why are the club looking to sell him.

Without the players who've played for us over the years, where would our memories come from? It's the players who have us on the edge of our seats, score thrilling last minute goals, crunching last-ditch tackles. That's we get emotionally tied to them, Singh. Football is an emotional sport. You don't bring your kid to watch the manager for his first game. I'm well aware they maybe don't have the same loyalty to the club as I do, but every single player has added something to our rich history, good or bad. That's why I hate the term, 'deadwood' as well.

I know what your saying Noucamp but soem of the players we are talking about have only been here for last 2 or three years. Look at Pogba, Martial and Shaw. They are new at the ckub who are not even English. They don't care about the club, they just care about the money. Football has changed and fans need to change too. Footballers don't have the same passion as they once did about any specific club.

Herrera and Mata are two of the players in our squad who 'get' United, more than most. Being English doesn't matter.

Pogba looks happy . He has his best buddies playing in the team (Lukaku Lingard ) the signing of Fred is hopefully going to let us see the pogba of Juventus. Why look to leave it just doesn't seem to add up. He shown the world he was happy with some of his performances in Russia. Bùt if he wants out then so be it . Very strange 😆😆.
