Nice but of gossip for you but Jose has not block booked at he Lowry beyond June this year.

Now clearly thus means he could be moving to a house, or just waiting for the offer from Paris to arrive. Who knows. All we do know is this marriage of convenience continues for now between him and the club.

I for one think he'll be gone for the start of he 19/ 20 season and Poch will be in place.

{Ed002's Note - There have been several offers from PSG already Eric - and there won't be anymore in the short to medium term.}

Agree1 Disagree1

What is the obsession with Poch?
If we wanted an Argentinian spurs manager who plays attacking football but can't win anything Ardiles would be cheaper.

Pochettino is a good manager, and his team's are entertaining to watch. I wouldn't be against him becoming our manager. There are questions about can be win things, and they will continue until he does. However, I am prepared to give him a little benefit of the doubt as he is managing a team that historically struggles in the most competitive league in Europe. He consistently has Spurs punching above their weight. Unai Emery will win the league this year to go along with his Europa league titles he picked up at Sevilla. Would people want him over Pochettino?

There are some good young managers about, Jardim, Tuchel and Marcelino is doing impressive things with Valencia atm.

Pochettino is a good manager, but he isn't the only one.

Agree shappy I don’t think that we should discount someone because they haven’t won anything. I don’t think that should be the most important criteria. We have done that with Jose and LVG and we haven’t set the world alight with the style of play. I would be happy with Poch, jardim or even fonesca at Shakhtar who has done really well there beating city in the group stages. I have a feeling Carrick might become an option when Jose goes. Just a hunch obviously there is no guarantee. But if the club think he were to be the right option then that would be a risky but potentially fruitful appointment. I like Poch, I like the way his teams play and I like the way he carries himself. Seems a very good man manager m. He has been found wanting in big games tactically though which is a concern. But with united budget I think he would have done better than Jose.

A friend of mine, lenny henry has told me that he's booked the city centre premier inn for next season because they have free parking.

Poch would be very good for us imo. I don't understand the argument saying he hasn't won anything so isn't right for the club. We have a current manager and our previous manager that have won the lot, but they clearly aren't fit for purpose imo. If anybody seriously expects Spurs to be winning the league or CL in order to rate Poch then I think they are not being realistic in their judging criteria. Only one team can win both competitions and Spurs winning either would be a major coup when you factor in the opponents they face and resources.

It's the same thing as when people sometimes say 'George Best was not the best because he never won a World Cup', or likewise with Messi now. It has very little to do with how capable they are whether the team wins things, it's the resources and tools at their disposal both as a player and manager that has to be factored in surely - not to mention the scenarios they are in!

Spurs look the best they have in my life time and I'd believe Poch is overachieving - Utd and Jose on the other hand.

were on course for our best finish in 5 years.

I don't get the jose out.

We all complaining of stability yet want to get rid of another manager again. 3 managers in 5 years.
