Haven’t seen anything regarding this but if they do we should be at the front in the line for him. He is a magnificent player and someone who would enable us to boss the midfield. He combines strength with the ability to glide past players like they are not even there. The only issues would be his age and injury record of late. Can’t see spurs letting him go if I’m honest but perhaps the Eds could provide more information. Should have got him when he was at Fulham in return for berbatov. I remember it was at old Trafford for that game and he bosses the game from midfield. Got a move to spurs shortly after.

Good player but at 30 would be an other short term fix.

Thanks and i agree ed002. That's what i meant. The guy mentioned that lvg had told him that Pep was sounded out in 2012. that's what i meant to say. Shame we missed out, but hindsight is a great thing!
I think the debate was really interesting. Wish we know more about the running of the club and relations but i guess, some things are better left private. Which is more than i can say about Mourinho's treatment of players!
