What does every one think of mourinhos latest comments that it's not the end of the world if city were to win the title today after playing us and that we bounced back after his Chelsea had done the same to us? Whilst I agree it's not the end of the world as much as I'd hate it, arsenal did it to us at ot we bounced back to but why does he bring up his own successes against United to highlight a point? Guys a tit if you ask me.

Classic Mourinho, take the pressure off the team while blowing his own trumpet. I don't really pay attention to what managers say in staged press conferences. It's what they do that counts.

Jose has repeatedly said Shaw can be the best LB in the league and he has a future here, yet then drops him and refuses to play him. A clear indication of a manager saying one thing then doing another.

Much like Wenger being able to see his team was denied a clear penalty from 60 yards away but he didn't see the foul by his player 10 feet in front of him on the half way line.

Managers talk garbage, sometimes to take pressure off their players, sometimes to apply pressure to another manager/ team and sometimes to deflect away from their own failings.

Much like Pep choosing this moment to say his team was offered the chane to sign Pogba in January. It was said to add pressure to Jose. If Jose doesn't play Pogba today can you imagine the fallout in the press. So Pep has pressured Mourinho into possibly playing a player he didn't want to play changing his set up and tactics and disrupting his plans for the game. Also it takes a lot of heat off of City's poor result mid week.

I agree with what he's saying to a point though and I understand why they do say these kind of things I don't understand why he brings up United past failures where he's succeeded against them not really endearing himself to the fans.

Is he not just bringing up his own personal experience of when it happened, why would he talk about a time he wasn’t involved in to explain his experience of it?

Some people just look for problems where there are none.

No they don't actually, people realise when someone associated with the club says the wrong things I won't be the only one saying it. moyes got jumped on for talking rubbish. If he was going to bring up times of the past about the club why not positive ones and strive to get them back instead of rubbing his own ego.
