"Manchester United are not going to sign Sanchez unless Mkhi agrees to join Arsenal, "

"Mkhi is going to do what is best for him. He has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, so it's his decision. "

"Sanchez is part of the Mkhi deal, not the other way around" raiola mikis agent.

Arsenal would be the ideal place for micky in my opinion. Wenger has drained the expectation out of the club, if he goes missing for 75% of the season, no one will mind. don't think wages will be an issue either.

DSG,

Maybe so, but remember how much money Raiola usually makes out of moving his players to different clubs, this one coming out of left field with nothing to do with him will not help here, he will want something from it as he would have got if he moved Miki elsewhere.

{Ed002's Note - No, that is not true at all.}

Mino looking for a big fat pay day is all.

16 Jan 2018 14:25:04
Armenian reporter close to miki reporting it's a done deal.

16 Jan 2018 14:25:53
Say what you want about mino. you wouldn't mind being a client of his. Seems to get great deals for his players.

16 Jan 2018 14:20:07
Why has Raiola just hung his client out to dry? Hypothetically speaking if Miki stays I don't think it’s beyond the realms of possibility that some fans will resent or hold it against him? I can’t see how saying united getting Sanchez depends on Miki moving helps if the later decides to stay? It will simply fracture an already weakening relationship between Miki and the club/ fans. Personally I feel he has an ulterior motive here although I’m not completely sure what that is.

{Ed002's Note - No he hasn't. You don't see the bigger picture and another option he has.}

Enlighten us ed02.

I'm pretty sure I speak for all of us when I say we literally always want your insight. Every little nugget you throw out is appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - Not worth the grief. Everyone has turned on his representative now and I am not going to try and explain.}

16 Jan 2018 14:52:18
Luke Chadwick. Mino will be making sure he gets the best deal for all his clients. I'm sure the move is on and mino is saying the right things to ensure that he gets the best outcome for both miki and Sanchez. He seems to be a very very clever bloke.

16 Jan 2018 15:26:11
Apologies, wasn’t turning against him in the slightest, it’s his job to get more money and the best deal for himself and his client as far as I’m aware.

{Ed002's Note - it is rather more complicated than that.}

From his comment I think it was just a bit of a push on Arsenal to get a deal that's right for miki. He said he put the deal to Arsenal 6 weeks ago, can't understand him doing that if miki wouldn't entertain the move.

16 Jan 2018 16:59:07
And United to give him a pay off.

16 Jan 2018 17:33:23
I'm not a regular poster I prefer to read than write but none of us have got it right and 02 has his head wobbled with all the other what ifs.

Reg Miki, Sanchez and M. Riola.

Its not just about the players or Agent. Arsenal don't want to be seen to have been robbed or giving away players easily as the fans will go mad etc

This has to be best for both players? Having to uproot and move is not easy and what we value miki at Arsenal might see it less

First reports were 35 plus miki. How does that make miki feel so the Agent has said this to boost miki confidence

On his day miki can be great and at Arsenal he will flourish not to mention he is multi lingual. He can speak or translate for others in Arsenal and is better suited to their style of play.

Oh and

Straight player swap is ideal. The if miki plays exceptionally well into next season then Arsenal can sell for 60/ 80 million or more so they are not loosing on the sanchez of deal.

The complexity of a deal like this must be a nightmare for both clubs. The legal and financial details are at extreme levels which are beyond what most people would be familiar with.
On top of that when you take into account that there is the personal feelings and wishes of 2 or more players involved.
By some reports its a runner and miki will go to arsenal. If he does i wish him the best I think he will do a lot better in their set up it suits him better.
He has a contract he is entitled to a pay off. His agent will try to secure him the best deal he can involving many aspects.
Agreeing a fee for miki may prove difficult with arsenal too.
