I may be in a minority but I really wouldn't be broken hearted if we don't end up with sanchez.
We paid a fortune to get van persie and how many years was he effective for us.2?. We paid even more to get di maria who clearly didn't want to come to us. We are now proposing making someone who turns 30 next birthday and who would prefer to go to city the best paid player in the premiership. I have no doubt that sanchez would give us 2/ 3 great years but I would rather us be identifying players that will give us 5/ 6 great years. I would prefer that we throw money at people like dybala, milinkovic savic, fabinho, dendonka? And if Martin is supposed to be a great prospect why aren't we being linked with him?
It's just my opinion but I feel we should be looking medium/ long term and not just for a short term fix.
Just to stir the pot a bit more if the choice is sanchez now at the sort of figures being quoted or Ozil on a free in the summer which would people prefer?

I think its the oposite, that he really wanted to come to Old Trafford, that's why he is not a City player yet. Even when he went to Barca, it was rumoured that United was one of his boyhood dreams, but it was never a option before now in this window.
So i think if he comes, its his first choice.

It wouldn't be the end of the world .
If we don't sign Sanchez life goes on and we will sign someone else .

Allan rvp won us the league I consider that a successfull move for us. Also what makes you think dybala would want to come here, also ed002 said fabinho would prefer city and there is no actual fact in Sanchez only wanting city, he could stay at Arsenal for 6 months and sign for city come summer but he seems happy enough to come to us now itself. Do Maria was a bad signing because lvg wanted nothing to do with him unlike mourinho clearly wants Sanchez.

Both ozil and sanchez for me, get rid of mkhitaryan, mata and zlatan. Same age range apart from zlatan and they are definitely upgrades and should not hurt the wage budget too heavily.
