Guys there is a great article by Andy Mitten on ESPN website of an interview with our very own Anderson. Great read, and I still have a massive soft spot for him. Was amazing in the 2008 season and a shame he never fulfilled his potential. But reading the article, having come from such a poor background, he views himself as a success and I guess that is all that matters.

He was just so bloody likeable wasnt he? Never forget he stepped up to take a penalty in Moscow . takes guts.

Always played with a smile on his face didn’t he! Have a read of the article mate he had a fantastic relationship with Fergie who loved him like a son. Great guy and hard to believe he’s still only 28 years old.

Unfortunately, he was never played to his strenghts and converting him to a CDM/ CM ruined him as a player. one of the great wasted talents of modern fotball.
