For what it is worth, I have just been reading that one of Sanchez Chile team mates said in 2010 (while Sanchez was still playing in Italy) that Sanchez's dream was to play for Manchester United.

I might stand corrected but if Sanchez didn't want to move to us, I'm sure that United wouldn't bid. Don't clubs usually sound out whether or not a player wants to go to the club first?

I take all this who they support with a pinch of salt unless they grew up in Salford then they probably support someone else. They definitely do if they grew up halfway around the world. They might have a soft spot for United, but not real fans.

According to the head of transfers at the time at udinese, only 2 clubs wanted to take Sanchez then and neither of those were United so you're wrong there shaps.
