Nice and simple:

Let's assume he's attainable.

Aubameyang (13 League Goals in 15 Starts this season) but having issue's with Dortmund

Would you take him for us?

{Ed004's Note - No we don't need a striker and his finishing is very erratic}

Nope, he causes a few issues off the pitch and as Ed004 has said he is very erratic and we don't really need a striker and certainly not one who likes to play on the shoulder and run in behind as we have Martial and Rashford who like to do that and Jose doesn't like to play them as strikers.

Cheers for the reply Ed.

Does he not play off the wing as a wide forward tho?

He's lightening quick and think he'd be a better option than Rash or Jesse behind Lukaku (I only mention Rash as I think he's destined to play as a number 9)

His record last 3 seasons is quality - 21 in 23 this season, 40 in 46 last year and 39 in 49 season before that.

I personally think he's a better option than what we have and would improve our squad, who else is banging in goals at that rate for us.

{Ed004's Note - Mkhitaryan also produced figures as impressive as Aubameyangs at Dortmund and he has struggled massively here. If Lukaku had not been signed I would probably be all for signing him but there is no point signing another striker to play him out wide. Aubameyang has been Dortmunds main striker since Lewandowski left}

No hrs got an attitude like an x factor winner. We need less divas and shirkers.

Over the last few seasons I've learnt one thing that never buy a player from Dortmund. There's a 90% chance he'll fail at your club. They've got a particular style of play which suits these players and these guys just don't make the cut once they go somewhere else. From Sahin to Mkhitaryan there are plenty of examples. Moreover Dortmund's twitter game is lit. Their announcements of their players leaving just gives you the chuckles.

or just play Martial as a CF and buy a winger.

Its a good point sailor I'm trying to think of someone who's left Dortmund in the last 5 seasons and done well elsewhere. Even the guy managed them hasn't as well as several players.

Great point Sailor. It's like some sort of curse their players have once they leave, I remember when we signed Kagawa I was delighted and thought he'd bring a whole new dynamic to our team but again never worked out.

Hummels and Lewandowski are about the only ones. Gotze, Sahin, Kagawa, Mkhitaryan have all struggled. It's hard to judge Gundogan as he just hasn't been fit long enough to work out if he can have a similar impact as to what he had at Dortmund.

There might be a pattern where No.10's leaving Dortmund struggle.
