And he isn't rated by fifa.

I think that's a bit unfair leahy.
The most recent awards were for the team of the season last year not the best player awards.
Buffon won the league agsin and hot to CL final again. Ddg played well but didn't play in our el win and we were sixth in the league. So in terms of keepers having great seasons ddg was not up there for the last few couple of seasons. The team not being hugely succesful will stunt any opportunity for most of those awards.

It's ridiculous, I suspect it has more to do with him not competing in the UCL last season than them not rating him. He is clearly one of the top three keepers in the world, arguably the best at this moment in time.
Personally I stopped concerning myself with FIFA and what they think a long time ago.

Ddg was not better than buffon last season jred.
Messi was in as he had yet another outstanding season. As did neymar he secured a world record deal. But sure a bit like jose jred your not happy unless your are moaning at somebody or something.
I know you think winni g thi gs is not a great measure of players but its what counts st the end of a career.

How do you pick a team of the season if it's not for the best player?
Why was neymar in for example when he won nothing (unlike ddg) and not someone like dybla who was also very good and won the league and got to the CL final . Just like Buffon did .

Ken, you need to put your shovel down and stop digging. You say it's about winning things but there are plenty who didn't win anything right up there. It just shows the flaws in the rankings. You clearly disagree but DDG right now is possibly the best around, I think Buffon was more of a lifetime achievement thing, give it him before he retires.

It usually is selected from the high profile teams wrong or competing at the highest level united did neither last year no shovel required.
I think ddg is the best in the world but his team were not competing at tje highest level. I would suggest that if united win the cl this season or spain a world cup next season ddg will be the keeper selected.
I think for what he achieved and at his age too buffon was tje outstanding candidate for keeper of the season.
Your opion differs but buffon won so i'm not alone in that view so no shovel required ajh.

Buffon did get to a European final last season, but De Gea won a European final. Or was that Romero? Maybe that's why he wasn't rated, because he didn't participate in the Europa? IDK.

Stopped paying attention to FIFA an UEFA when Messi won the best player award during the 2014 World Cup.
They are anti-English clubs and England for a start because we have mopped up commercially in my opinion, and we don't quite fit in to their ways. Had DDG been playing for Madrid and performed exactly the same he would have won the award, but who cares really, it's all politics and ass kissing. Man Utd haven't been the force of old for a while now so it's not surprising that we (and our players) get overlooked for awards like this, but in saying that it doesn't take much of an effort for us to be ignored. It will only get worse with Brexit imo.
Best thing to do is not engage with their propaganda.

Jred you are pretty unintelligent. Alli played better than ronalso last night but i still think ronaldo is the best player in the world. It doest make alli a better player it means he had a better game than ronaldo last night.
Buffon had a better season last season than ddg but i still think ddg is the better keeper overall over past gew seasons.

De Gea, undoubtedly a better GK IMO.
I don't know how they pick a world XI. Statistically speaking, last year Buffon won his domestic league and got to UCL final, similar amount of clean sheets but with less minutes played. Probably get's it on his achievements last year. But ask me who I'd rather in my world XI, De Gea everyday. Juventus seem to have been more consistent in the UCL last couple of years.
