Lads the double golden boot boy is out tomorrow so can we have the game cancelled and just give man Utd the 3 points they already have as we now have zero chance.

Agree1 Disagree1

27 Oct 2017 11:44:18
Now raver your not a one man team surely.

27 Oct 2017 14:35:41
Wow imagine going on to another teams page to admit you think you are a one man team, embarrassing.

27 Oct 2017 14:47:19
At least we are not so boring to watch like boresey mourinho, I wonder how many buses will be parked up tomorrow. Imagine playing for 0-0 draws every week now that's embarrassing.

27 Oct 2017 15:13:51
You just said, give us the 3 points, So which is it, 0-0 or united win. Who has scored more goals this year, spurs or united?

27 Oct 2017 15:47:02
This park the bus is getting a little bit like the term Fergie time. I don't remember anyone complaining about the A. C. Milan team of the 80's and 90's.

27 Oct 2017 15:50:10
Raver, that is the difference between a big club and a small club. Mentality. We have our top scoring player from last season out injured (Ibrahimovic), our most expensive signing (Pogba) out injured along with players like Carrick (our club captain), Rojo, Fellaini and possibly Bailly (our best defender) . That's at least 6 first team players out injured and yet we still expect to compete with you and we still expect to get a result.
You have one player out injured. Yes Kane is your best player. But you still have the best defence in the league fit, you still have one of the best goalkeepers in the league fit, you still have Dier, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli all fit. Llorente was last season proved to be a top striker, you beat Chelsea to his signature. So you have an adequate replacement. Yet you now no longer expect your team to be able to compete and get a result.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Spurs, but if you’re a typical Spurs fan then they don’t need better players, they need better fans.

27 Oct 2017 16:39:18
True points boys I'm just pulling your legs, Jose mourinho is a winner and I would love to have him at my club.

27 Oct 2017 17:30:44
Would you prefer Jose to Poch raver? I’m quite surprised about your view on Poch. A lot of my spurs mates rave about him and I would agree with them that he is the best manager in the league. He has built a formidable team who are rock solid at the back and are a delight to watch going forward playing at a great tempo. He has also done that on a fraction on a budget compared to other managers and also developed players who I thought were fairly average in Davies and trippier. Davies in particular is a very good player who I wouldn’t mind at United. Granted Poch needs to win something very soon, but I think your going in the right direction.

27 Oct 2017 18:18:37
I would swap tomorrow park, yes poch has done a good job for spurs but he's never going to take us to that next level or win any major trophys. Mourinho is a trophy machine and I believe if we had him or Conte at spurs right now we would win the league and possibly go close in the champions league.

{Ed025's Note - i dont believe it!!..poch is twice the manager jose or conte will ever be or have been raver, hes one of the best in the world and much sought after, how you would want old park the bus over him makes me wince unless your into egotistical maniacs of course..

27 Oct 2017 19:11:19
I couldn't disagree more ed and i even think poch would agree. I don't think joses ego is any bigger than SAF.
Of course i don't like some of his antics and certain traits of his personality or some of the defencive tactics deployed in some matches but poch can only dream and aspire to be as good and as succesful as jose. To say poch is a better manager now than jose will ever be is pretty outragous.
Poch has won nothing yet. I hope he does i like his style. He has build 2 very good squads at 2 different clubs in the epl. Spurs are playing lovely football and he has a great eye for talent. His players do play for him and respect him he has a lot of ability. But he does need to win soon or players will get itchy feet and levy will cash in and poch won't like that. A lot of debt now so there are players there that can slash that debt if sold in todays over inflated market.
I hope he wins something and is given the chance to turn this squad and himself into winners. They might stick together if they stop being the bridesmaids.
When he wins the floodgates could open. Would i swap him for jose in a couple of years time if and when he's proven himself maybe 😁
No manager is perfect and jose is less perfect than many but he also a lot better than most.
If jose had taken everton in the summer ed and spent the 150m on players where do you think everton would be now?
Imo he made a massive error v Liverpool its brought an air of negativity into and around the club and up until then all negativity had been gone. I genuinely believe losing that game having a go would have brought less negativity and bad press.
Tomorrow he and the team will redeem themselves.

I think that’s a tad harsh on Jose Ed. He has had a very illustrious career and won the amount of trophies that only a handful of coaches ever win. Granted the tactic are infuriating at times but his first Chelsea team and his real team played some great stuff. And even his last Chelsea team up until Christmas were very good. But I have to say Pochettino does have the ability to be very special and his man management skills are second to none. Although Conte is a good manager he is too combustible for me and cracks when the pressure is on. He will be off at the end of the season and my bet is on him going to Milan.

{Ed025's Note - i think your right on conte park, jose has won his fair share i agree but his teams have never been easy on the eye mate, over the past 4 or 5 years he has lost the plot and united have got him far too late, when he first came to the prem he was witty and a breath of fresh air, sadly he is now a grumpy old man who is up his own arse and a bore of the highest order..

27 Oct 2017 19:51:06
Bit OTT there ed025!

{Ed025's Note - just an opinion angel, we all have them mate..

27 Oct 2017 19:55:29
Ed that is the big question, have United got Jose to late, has he lost his mojo.

{Ed025's Note - for me yes jred, he was the belle of the ball at one time mate, now hes just a bell..

27 Oct 2017 20:17:53
That’s a great post ken I agree with all of that. I think with jose’s CV Heaney surely got to be up there with the best ever. But I agree Ed he has been grumpy of late but the air of negativity has only been around for the last few weeks. Before the Liverpool game the positivity was great and the press were hailing the return of united and Jose. I think we will be there and there abouts come April. But Jose knows how to win so I do have faith. Even if it means we unfortunately play negative tactics away from home (which I do think is unacceptable) .

27 Oct 2017 20:25:28
Sorry ed but poch has a long way to go before he can even be mentioned in the same breath as Mourinho you may not like his style or his attitude but his record speaks for itself and as much as I like poch (and I do I love watching his teams) the guy has won a total f##k all .

As disappointed as I have been with a couple of performances this season I am under no illusion that we without doubt have one of the 3 top managers in world football and I'm grateful for that.

{Ed025's Note - was is the word you are looking for deano, he was in the top 3 a good few years back but is now a shadow of that manager, i dont delight in saying that mate but for me he is ruining a legacy that has seen us all enjoy watching united over the years, its more akin to chess nowadays im afraid..

27 Oct 2017 22:31:34
Well as a united fan ed I can tell you that before jose came in it was the darkest time I've seen personally as a united fan and a couple of iffy performances isn't going to change the fact that I'm glad we have a serial winner at the helm again .

And I disagree with the "was" to ed we won 2 trophies last year and look solid this year and if I were a betting man I would wager we will win something this season too.

Jose has been winning trophies for the last 14/ 15 years and on the whole his methods have varied very little, this is the reason I'm not particularly surprised or disappointed with the way we set up for certain games. I realise we will have to swallow a bit of the pride and arrogance in the pursuit of silverware.

I know you won't agree ed 025 and i know that you are really not very fond of the manager but to suggest he is not one of the best is a little unfair imo.

{Ed025's Note - i know its not been easy for the supporters deano and that he has a will to win attitude my problem is that at what cost?, yes united will be up there at the end and you will smash a lot of the lower to middle clubs but will you win the league...absolutely not, to do that you need the bigger teams to fear playing you and parking buses and boring the living daylights out of the fans is not the way to go for me mate, i may be proved wrong of course but i stand by what i have said from the start...mourinho and united just does not fit..

28 Oct 2017 09:56:10
Ed025 - Bang on that mate, although I feel we are over hyping Poch a bit. If we changed manager now, would Poch be ready for the Utd job? I still Ancelotti would be better short term while Poch gets a bit more experience and maybe wins something.

Thing is, we're all talking up Poch as the next Utd manager and he probably would prefer to go to Madrid or Barca.

{Ed025's Note - utd is right up there when it comes to big clubs MM, poch has been stifled a bit at saints and now spurs and with a united sized budget i believe he could become the best around mate..
