I am not going to post on the Liverpool page yet will reflect on tonight
Last season to much amusement of some other club fans we won two ‘meaningless’ trophies. They were far from meaningless to me, every major trophy has an impact. The point is those trophies bought Mourinho time and gave confidence through the club into this season.
I seem to recall SAF saying a trophy buys time. This season there has to be a spotlight on Klopp, an expectation to show signs of improvement, development, at that point a cup run buys time, so today’s loss for Klopp and his team says to me he doesn’t realise he needs to prove his worth, grasp that he is at a bigger club than he has been before, it says to me he thinks, likes Moyes, he has long term when he may have less than he thinks.
However as another Avenue is blocked off to win a major trophy the pressure ratchets up a notch, if Klopp doesn’t grasp where he is then it may be another situation like Moyes was for us, without the recent success of his predecessor. Not my problem but I wouldn’t be happy if I was a Liverpool fan seemingly watching some good football without understanding the direction the team are truly going in.

Apparently we got in through the back door by winning the uefa cup. I'm sure if they'd beat Seville before when they had the chance then they would have asked not to be in the CL due to integrity.
