He was overpriced and MU didn't pay the asking price. I guess it's over with now or he's teasing interested parties to make a further bid? I don't know, but I guess if we don't pay the asking price then Jose isn't desperate for him or he has someone else in mind either this summer or next?

He would be a decent signing, and probably over the course of the season might get us a few points here and there. I don't think he is significantly better than want we have, and he certainly doesn't have as high a ceiling as players such as Martial and Rashford who have both played in his preferred left wing position.
I don't think he is a transformative player for our team like someone with the talent of Greizmann could be. Nor is he the "missing link" player such as Matic. Just a very good player in his peak probably over priced.
Of course had we lost yesterday he would be an essential signing and exactly what we need. Lol.

Am amazed Chelsea let Matic go to us, they are saying they're not upset at losing him but not so sure they're trying to convince themselves there, there manager clearly is upset, then again Roman needs those pennies for his divorce doesn't he.

We have rash and martial for the left, so ideally we need someone for the right. Unless Rash switches flanks which he has played before and martial plays left.
