Hi all, thanks to the Eds as always.
Couple of questions for Ed002 when available.
1. Is Dier keen on a move to United as suggested in media reports over past two days?
2. With Bakayoko expected to join Chelsea, are United still hoping to sign Matic?

Cheers Ed.

{Ed002's Note - (a) I have no idea sorry, (b) I thought Bakayoko joined Manchester United on Monday - all of the fans told me he had. Matic remains a target.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It's been a good couple of days Ed with Sanchez signing too 😂.

I would love Sanchez in all seriousness, Matic and Perisic seems more likely to join the land of the giants tho, we do have a physical side in the making.

With regards to Matic. I've read that Matic has been training individually all week so it could mean that the deal to United will go through once we get Bakayoko.
I myself hope it doesn't because I don't want us to strengthen your team any further (already very very strong), but if you give us a good fee then it doesn't surprise me that the board would sell to you guys.

Thanks for the response Ed, much appreciated. I'll keep my fingers crossed re: Matic.
Does Dani Alves signing for PSG in anyway change their interest in Fabinho? If Barcelona sign Semedo then I hope United really push for Fanbino instead.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Gutted we missed out on Kyle Walker bargain signing.

13 Jul 2017 15:29:49
Ha Mort that made me 😂.

13 Jul 2017 19:12:09
£100 mil for Stones and Walker. Nuts!

13 Jul 2017 20:44:05
Must be tastey nuts!

13 Jul 2017 21:46:15
£100m on defenders who can't actually defend.

13 Jul 2017 16:26:23
Pep "DON'T PANIC " Guardiola. 😆😆.

Mort. I agree with you. Walker is an excellent player and will give width to their attack. Guadiolla has made three top class signings. If they get Sanchez then the rest of the league will be playing for 2nd place.
I know it hurts to accept it but they'll have a fantastic team.

Take the money out of it and walker is a great signing for city imo. Exactly the type of player pep needs for his preferred system he will get mendy on the other side and with silva silva de bruyne aguero sterling sane and jesus himself i think whoever beats them next season will have to score 3 goals because they have some seriously good attacking options.
If jose gets the players he wants like pep looks like getting such as matic and perisic or some other target he wants. It will be very interesting to see which coach wins the silverware. Conte and chelsea will buy big and well imo arsne looks like doing likewise klopp will get his players in and poch may add some depth. Add everton into the mix and the inevitable dark horse that will start hot, its going to be a great season. Some big egos in a possible 7 team race for 4 cl places and of course the title.
All the good coaches will have new players to work with who can get them to gel the quickist.
Imo next season we could well see 5 or 6 teams still in with a realistic chance of winning the title with 8 games to go. There will be fireworks dust ups and drama after drama fuelled by media hype and social media. Coaches doing and saying stupid things at press conferences and post match etc, which coach and set of players will excel as the pressure mounts? And who will crack first in the heat of the battle? In a close race who has the players who can keep their cool which coach can switch to plan b or c if a is not working.
Which coach in a tight race will win the mind games?
Who will be star of the season who will flop? Who will throw their toys out of tje pram? (Conte gets my vote for that one i just think hee is going to do something crazy this season)
I can't wait to see how it all unfolds on the pitch.
A hot start is essential to winning the title. This season of all seasons you don't want to be chasing a 10 point gap at any stage after xmas.
All these coaches want and u think in most cases need silverware i expect that the cups that some people scoff at over recent years will be much coveted and hottely contested.
My negative prediction is that those 'top 7 clubs' will not all finish the season with the coach that they started with sadly.
IMy positive prediction is that the fans of all these clubs could all jave something to play for and win really deep into the season.

{Ed007's Note - That would be an ecumenical matter.....
