I am really hoping that its true that we could be signing Bakayoko. He could be a fantastic signing if true! I would far rather him than Matic.

I'm taking it with a pinch of salt. Personally I think we need a passer rather than a destroyer. Someone who can sit deep, break up play with good anticipation and start attacks from deep. Bakayoko seems more like Yaya Toure, physical player who uses his strength to push forward in a more box to box role rather than a playmaker. We have Pogba and Herrera who can play that box to box role. We have Mata and Mkhitaryan who can play as No.10's but only Carrick who can be that deep playmaker.
But if we do move for Bakayoko it might seems like as a club we are doing our best to screw up Chelsea's recruitment drive. Signing their first choice target in two key positions after it looked like we had other targets in mind for those positions (Morata/ Matic) . Or maybe we are just moving for Bakayoko to try and hurry Chelsea along, make them worried that they might lose another top target. That way we can close the Matic deal quicker, as they won't sell him until they have signed their replacement.

I'd say it's far more simple. United are interested in the player, but Chelsea are in pole position at present.
No need to read any more into it than that.

I think we need someone in the 10 role to get the best out of lukaku.
Would like to see pogba kick on and be a proper box to box cm.
Which would leave herrera mopping up in front of the back 4 which I think he done well this year .
Prob need another cm not sure it has to be someone who is expected to start week in week out tho.

Miki is perfect for the no 10 role. Play Rashford and martial out wide with lukaku up top.
Pogba and Herrera just in front of either matic or another cdm.
