I'm long time reader but never posted before. I very recently lost my brother who was a lifelong red like myself. He had a fantastic send off at his funeral from all his family and friends and also from his work colleagues but what I want and what I'm posting for is so that he can get a great send off from the manchester united community. Might sound a bit strange but it would have meant a lot to him. His name was James and he lived in derry in northern Ireland. Thanks to anyone who reads this and thanks to the eds.

Hey Vinny, so sorry to hear that, I hope you and you family are looking after each other.
as I have got older I have lost friends and family and the pain is always the same. It's an odd adahe but time does help and the way I have dealt with it is to always remember the good times, hell I still to talk to a friend who passed away as if he is in the room with me. The phrase gone but never forgotten is very true, remember him well.

Thanks very much guys really appreciated. He even had a prayer read at his funeral for United and for a successful season. This was read out by my nephew who is a Chelsea fan! Thanks again.

RIP fella. Football seems so unimportant when something like that happens, but then it is always there to help aswell, be it memories or a game that helps take your mind off reality for a little while.
