I hope the reports are not true this morning that Jose prefers Dier than Fabinho.
I would much rather take Fabinho and I don't rate Dier that highly.
We would probably have to fork out a lot more money for Dier because we would be dealing with Daniel Levy.

I can't see many Spurs players leaving there when they are in a good moment, ok Walker but he seems out of favour. Fabinho, Matic, Matuidi, Kroos, who knows.

Simo Dier is a really good player. Fabinho I have not seen too much of but from what I read from some very well thought of journalists he seems a little flaky - hit and miss, hot and cold.
As I suggested on another post my idea CM would be Dembele from Spurs but I am probably dreaming.

Dier is a decent defender, but an average midfielder. There's a reason that Spurs brought in Wanyama, and a reason why he vastly improved their midfield. I have zero clue why we would be looking to bring in Spurs's third choice CB as our first choice midfielder.

MAZE - It's all about opinions. Dier is average at best and for the money they would be asking it's ridiculous.
Hs's lived off that free kick in the Euro's, since then he's been nothing but steady / average.
You compare him to Fabinho, Kante, Kroos and he's not even in the same league as them.

I don't think Matic is mobile enough. If Chelsea don't want him then why would we? We should be aiming for better.
Matuidi is too old, he is 30 now and the fee we would have to pay just doesn't make any sense.
Fabinho would be my first choice but I would take Kroos if we didn't get Fabinho.
I just hope he gets some sort of holding midfielder. For some reason I am not that confident he's going to buy one but I pray to god I am wrong as we are desperate for somebody in this position so we can give Pogba a bit more freedom to express himself.

How good was he last night. Every pass got to where he wanted to go "awesome ". I'm so glad he plays for Man Utd. 😆😆.
