Morata scored 15 league goals this season which is is better than his previous seasons total s of 7, 8, 8 and 2 .
He will turn 25 in a couple of month, would there of been as much demand for him on the site if his profile wasn't raised due to his association with Madrid having come through the ranks there .

So a 24 year old scored almost as many league goals as Zlatan and nearly as many as our 2nd, 3rd and 4th top league goal scorers combined in a season mainly spent on the bench, not bad going really.

My mate Benny '8 pies', scored 32 league goals this season, he is only 22 - how much should we spend on him?
Morata doesn't take us up a level, he hampers our top class potential to boot. I'd be dubious spending £30m on him, let alone double that. It's a joke, we would be even more of a laughing stock if this happens when it comes to agents and selling clubs. Slitting our own throats transfer wise, 50% premium just because we are interested is ridiculous.

If he was playing for Sunderland with them numbers you wouldn't be wanting the club to spend 70 mil on him .
Fair play to Defoe 15 goals this season and the season before .
Lots of players scored as many as our 2nd etc. we had a mare in front of goal this season not sure that's standard to judge players against
70 mil for a striker that has scored 30 league goals in 3 seasons.
I thought he flopped at juve struggled in what is a very good juve team. He left, higuain came in and scored 24 to add to his 34 the previous year .
Decent player not top class imo if we sign him great but I think both rash and martial will be better players .

Need to understand the amount of time he played last season, Morata averaged a goal every 88 minutes in the league which eclipses by far anything achieved by MU players and pretty much anyone else in the top leagues for that matter. Yes this was in La Liga but that is still an astonishing goal rate. at 24 there is potential for him to play at the top level for 10 years. With the way things are going now and the money involved with football, 70mil won't seem that big in a couple of years and if its spent on a player mourinho obviously likes and trusts then I'd be happy to bring him to MU.

If we sign him great but I think he is being built up on here to be a better player than he is, which always happens when we are linked to a player .
Scored a lot of goals coming of the bench this season when he was fresh and the other team where 2 or 3 down .
Scored 15 in 2 seasons at juve
Decent player but imo people wouldn't be raving about him if he never had the Madrid connection .
Maybe a case of the best of what's available but not a great player imo .
That said, you don't need a team of superstars.

Josh King scored a similar amount of goals for Bournemouth at a similar age why isn't there a huge uproar for us to sign him.

I think you need to understand the astronomical fee involved in bringing him to Utd.
DDG is world class yet they want more than £52 million for Morata who isn't world class and is t the finished article unlike DDG.
Should we pay £85 million for Belotti because he has had one good season in Serie A.
Fools part easily with their money.

Just been speaking to my holiday rep. Lovely Italian fella and big napoli fan. He describes Botelli as one of the best strikers he's seen. A beast of a player that only has one thought in his mind and that's putting the ball in the net. He also mentioned he has a fantastic work ethic. That's high enough praise for me. Sign him up Woody.

Ha ha yeah just seen that. I obviously meant Belotti eagle eyes but good spot. Isn't Betolli a type of butter? Could be tricky for dodgy English defenders to get a grip of maybe we should look at him instead lol.
