Amongst the guff that's in the rags today, one of them have mentioned Ander being touted at £30mil
Just out of interest, what do you think he is worth to us at the moment?
I love the guy and £30mil is an insult IMO. he's very important to the UTD team.

With the market the way it is, he'd have to be near £45m. Manchester United's play of the year in the prime of his career. Tempted to go as high as £50m.

They can buy his shoes for 30m. We bought him for 30m and now he is atleast 3 times better than then.
I won't sell him but he should fetch 55 to 60m at least.

He must be worth £60m.
But we need the player a lot more than we need the money. He isn't on massive wages (relatively speaking) and he works his socks off. He should be club captain imo.
Put it another way. If we were buying this player right now, how much do you think we would need to payfor him?

Only got 12 month on his contract so not that much.

Yes he has 12 months but the club also have an option to extend by a further 12 months so not yet at a critical point. I expect him to extend his contract In the summer. His head was turned for a bit but if he resigns its because he wants to be here as he has good options to go back to Spain. That's the sort of player we need.

I expect it because there is serious interest and he has turned it down to stay I'm assuming he has turned it down based on the commitment of a new contract offer from united.

If he has 2 year on his contract I don't see an issue.

He has 1 year left on his contract the club have an option of another year. Let's wait and see.

The player has made it clear he wants to stay. I don't see Jose wanting to let him go. I say give him a 4 year contract and double his wages he's earned it.
