Taking the eyes of the media and the world off the players and onto him 3 days before a big final for us maybe? Wouldn't put it past him.

Exactly Jred, what better way to put the glare of the media on him? Everyone will be talking about how Jose shunned uniteds own tv station, which will take the some of the media coverage off the players a little.

He could of maybe said a word or 2 about the young players who done very well today .
The media will just move straight on to the final any way now the league has finished.

Jose Mourinho's comments will hurt those fans whose team finished the season higher in the league but empty handed. Tottenham, Man City, Liverpool and possibly aimed at the Premier League for not rearranging the fixture to further help prepare for the final hence the "final" comment.

After watching jose and the way he's been behaving and his body language (no expert) for most of the season I personally don't think he will be here ( or even wants too be) for very long.

That would be my take as well. Frustrated and annoyed that the league have not helped. As to the lap, maybe he didn't feel he deserved to do it, he is a winner and this hasn't been what he would likely see as good enough.
