Down the page Tony gave Jose a B- for his job performance. I find that to be very generous. Now I'm not saying he should be replaced but it would be nice if he swallowed his pride and admitted that he hasn't been good enough this season. He's quick enough to criticise others. he should hold himself to the same standards.
He took a top 6 squad, spent £150m+, including smashing the transfer record and achieved. top 6.
Performances were largely unentertaining, few players are performing better than last season (Herrera, Fellaini) some players have intact regressed (Smalling, Shaw, Martial)
IF we win our first ever Europa league its hardly something to shout about. the reason we haven't won it before now is because we have consistently too good to even be in the competition.
Yes I'll be happy if we win it and yes I'm happy we won the league cup but they are not the premier competitions. Let's be honest if other clubs were bragging about winning either of those in Sir Alex's time we would have laughed at them.

Luke Shaw played 5 games last season. Wouldn't say he's regressed because of Jose.
I'd give Mourinho a C+ if we win Europa personally. Like you're saying, Europa and League cup isn't what we wanted at the start but i'd rather have 2 trophies and Champions league than be City or Liverpool.

I'm with harry, it's been a mediocre season for me. We need to be challenging for the league title, but I will write this off for Jose as I believe you will always need 2 years minimum to prove your worth at a club our size.
I'm expecting next year to be a title challenge and hopefully a good champions league run (if we win Wednesday) .
However, I'd rather be in Spurs' position right now than ours.

He's currently on a D for me, but if we win the Europa League it's a B. The EL final really is that important.
I obviously do care about what we are like to watch but when all is said and done, the history books won't say that we played appaulingly, it will say we won the League Cup and Europa League, and qualified for the Champions League.
I still refuse to believe any United fan would've turned their nose up at that if they were asked last August.

B+ if we win Europa final, for me. Still A-, A and A+ to go to improve to be where we want to be. Let's win the game and see what summer brings, maybe he'll be an A in 12 months.
