I see that roy Keane is at it again. We get the picture keano. But leave Rashford alone. He's only 19 years old for God's sake. He will improve and his scoring and decision making will improve too.

Agree4 Disagree2

A Manchester United legend but a bitter old man who fell behind in the times.

He's a pundit Schmidt. He gives his honest view.

He wasn't wrong was he? Just because you don't want to hear it. I thought he was bang on. That's why we are 5th in the league, very poor finishing. Rashford had a great game but he could have put the tie to bed long before.

Not a massive fan of Keane as man, but as a footballer and pundit, he is Fairly bang on the money.

Keane is a legend but also good at upsetting the applecart, as for giving an honest view . maybe? I remember RVP apparently cornering Robbie Savage at their respective kids school because RVP thought Savage was going OTT on the kids at United and Savages response whas along the lines of "this pundit lark means you have to go OTT to get noticed, be controversial innit, its not necessarily 100% what I really think"

That little story appeared in the tabloids at the time . no idea if its true but wouldn't surprise me if they are not all like that. -do like Lee Dixon though.

Angel. We wanted to take Rashford in the dressing room and give him both barrels. It is ok if Rashford was playing in a team of world beaters with a front line like Barcelona's, but Rashford at 19 is leading the attack for Manchester United.
Any idiot could see that we are where we are because of poor finishing, zlatan pogba and martial are all guilty of it, but to have a go at a 19 year old who has been given responsibility way beyond his years is utterly stupid and Keane is a complete idiot for saying it.
If he wants to have a go then maybe have a go at zlatan for missing two open goals, for Shaw who at the age of 21 looks out of condition and totally screwed at the end of the match, at martial for walking around with not a care in the world and not putting in 20% effort.
To have a go at a very stable and well behaved young player for missing chances in a high pressure game is ridiculous in the extreme.

Agree with you Schmidfield. But only if its a one of scenario. With Rashford its become a sequence almost. In the last 45 days, he has missed 6-7 open chances with most of them when he has been one on one with the GK. So, that is a worrying situation given that he is "so talented".

{Ed004's Note - But that will all come with experience and he's been working hard behind the scenes to improve it. His deadball delivery was very good last night (we actually looked threatening from set pieces for one) and he hit a brilliant one recently vs West Brom. He needs a bit more confidence in his shooting ability and hopefully he won't snap at shots as often}

Schmid. I didn't hear Keane use that kind of analogy. All I heard him saying was that it's lucky he scored the winner because if it was him he would have confronted him.

He is a pundit Schmid, he gave an honest view. I would have said he ridiculed him or went after him.

He was right, United were cruel with their finishing hence our position in the table.

I think you're quite a bit touchy mate. Nothing he said was out of line.
