A player I always admired was Park Ji Sung, his hard work, tenacity and ability to score key goals in important games was priceless. He was often played to take up the slack of some of our less hard working forwards to allow them to focus on attacking teams. Often though he found space for himself by being the one opposition defenders were least concerned about.
Why am I taking this stroll down memory lane?
Because I think Lingard has stepped up into that role. He is the enabler of our forwards, the one who scarfices the glory for the good of the team. Our attack always looks more potent with Lingard playing, even if that threat isn't coming directly from him.
That's why I was so glad to seem him get a contract extension the other week. He is also United through and through.

Think we will only see the best of Lingard if he plays in the 10 role. The problem is that we have got more people who want to be at no. 10's, than an election campaign. (here all week)

Wow talk about hype. Lingard is never going to be our no10. I love Rashford and admittedly only saw highlights but everything he did was either miss hit or off target his goal being the biggest miss hit of all. A fantastic result no question but they'll have to do better next time you can't really on miss hitting the ball.

Agreed angel, I thought the 2 of them were magnificent, never stoppd running and Layer with real heart a passion. A few mishaps are neither here nor there.
