I don't like this turning on our players which seems to be happening a lot lately.
I thought Fellaini played pretty well when he came on, he could have scored a belter had the deflection not taken some of the sting off his shot. People who are blaming him for the goal scored by Dendocker I think are placing the blame on the wrong man.
First off Carrick was our holding midfielder and it should be his job to track midfield runners, and personally I don't think either of Rojo or Darmian were strong enough in that situation.
Personally I think Fellaini has played pretty well every time he has played this season, certainly he has never walked off the pitch as our worst performer at any point this season.
Then we have Martial being slated. I think people forget that all young players have ups AND downs early on in their careers. Previously under Sir Alex this was less of an issue as we had a great group of players with the right mentality around them who could pick up the slack and carry them during those downs. Where as now we are expecting the young players to carry to side. Martial is having a tougher second season, it happens to many players, some far more experienced than him. People forget this is only really his third season as a professional. Give the lad a chance and try supporting the players a bit.

It was also a great cross and a great header .
When united score you don't tend to see people posting about how the other team where at fault .
As for martial it was only last season he scored 17 goals played out wide for most of it in a team that didn't create chances. The talent is there to see.

Good post Snappy. I think martial is just having an off season but he'll come good.
I think Fellaini is as good as he's going to be but is not good enough for United.
Martial will learn from this and improve next season.

I think Martial is a player you need to play and allow him to make mistakes. This on off thing is not helping him. Dyabala who is currently in everyones list played so so poorly for Juve at the beginning and now that he gets regular stars is showing what he can do. Martial is the same and needs to start and same could be said for Rashford.
