Is it me, or do other posters on here think we should hang on to Fellaini?

I 100% did not want him when we brought him, didn't want him in a Man UTD shirt EVER and i spent the first 1.5 seasons still hating the bloke

However, IMO if he's happy to be a squad player/ half time sub (to change a game) then i'm happy for him to stay!

We have so many talented players who are not putting a decent shift in week in, week out. So i thought i'd mention what was one of my most hated players and how i actually would like him with us next season.

Agree11 Disagree0

Gives the manager a different option the stick he has got and gets is out of order imo .

03 Apr 2017 15:04:27
Agreed jred

I am guilty of giving the bloke stick before he came to us and in the first season at UTD.

Hi game is totally different under Jose and anyone who boo's him or is unhappy with him at UTD now is just plain idiotic!

03 Apr 2017 15:04:38
A player that suits a Mourinho team, that will play for Mourinho, he will stay.

"anyone who boo's him or is unhappy with him at UTD now is just plain idiotic"

So, Zidane, it was ok to boo him before?

03 Apr 2017 15:50:19
Ezrs I think he will be kept. I admire his attitude. I don't admire his playing style but Jose likes him amd that's what counts. Never stops trying his best unlike others.

99,

Good question. Support the the players and your team through good and bad. It seems at times if a player has a couple of bad games everyone wants them out the door. The moment a young play hits a ruff bit of form he suddenly won't make a top player.

03 Apr 2017 16:21:02
I Never actually boo'd him no. But as an everton player yes i disliked him a lot!

And i am guilty of being idiotic because when he joined i had the same negative opinion.

I was wrong about him as a UTD player. But yes, anybody who boo's there own players are absolutely idiotic!

03 Apr 2017 17:24:17
A bit like Ibra jred some want him out the door. Support the player😂😂😂.

03 Apr 2017 17:50:05
I keep saying it and getting slated for it. The Wig brings more to the team than Pogba.

03 Apr 2017 18:40:02
And I keep saying, if we had 11 players with Fellaini's attitude, we'd be doing ok, mate.

{Ed025's Note - but then again noucamp if you had 11 players with fellaini,s ability then you would be in league 1 mate..

03 Apr 2017 18:40:09
ken do we apply the rule for rooney too then?

03 Apr 2017 18:48:24
Ken,

Always support the player. Ibra is put of contract in the summer if he leaves we need a cf if not we don't. Pretty simple really.

03 Apr 2017 19:08:23
You sound like a spurned lover, Ed025 :)

{Ed025's Note - hell hath no fury like an evertonian scorned noucamp :)..nah mate hes just not good enough for a team of united,s stature, hes hardly a keane or scholes mate and is an impact sub at best, dont compromise the integrity of united,s ethics to accommodate a battering ram for me..

03 Apr 2017 19:36:55
Not my 'rule' or viewpoint csm i was teasing jred a little.
I believe all players EARN support and or respect.
The only time they get my unconditional support is during the 90 mins when at the game.
I've lost respect for Rooney the player personally.
But as a united fan everytime he takes the field I hope he scores.
I respect his achievements his record and he will go down as a club legend and rightly so. But he is not doing his best anymore in my opinion.
Much to his credit he does not appear to appear to have thrown his toys out of the pram this season and he appears to be supportive to the manager and towed the line. But I genuinely felt he cut a desperate figure on Saturday.
I'm sure there are glimpses of the old magic in his boots but he was hiding on Sat and I've never seen that before. I was calling for him at half time to replace martial but when he came on for miki he was not his usual self at all.

I used to be a Utd snob as well, Ed025. But I think in the modern game, you need a squad with players you can use if you have to resort to a Plan B or even a Plan C. Plus, I warmed to him, as soon as I saw the way some so-called Utd fans treated the guy when he pulled on a red shirt. I'm a sucker for the underdog, mate.

{Ed025's Note - dont talk to me about underdogs noucamp...i have been an evertonian for 59 years mate.. :)
