Probably going to get a lot of dislikes but I thought the lads put in a shift today and couldn't have done a great deal more given the ultra-defensive nature of WBA. They just executed their defensive plan very well. Add to that the customary worldly pulled of by the opposition keeper, which seems to be a given of late.

As far as our top four chances go it obviously is two points lost; but there is still a lot of football to be played, starting on Wednesday, against an Everton side who won't come for a draw. So I for one am going to look to the positive, namely another clean sheet and some very good individual performances, particularly Felliani, who is playing his best football for the club since he signed IMO.

I think there is far too much messing about with the ball around the midfield. We need to cross the ball more and take more shots on when teams are camping in and around there area.
We would get a lot more balls dropping to strikers in that case. Too many times we are trying to make the perfect goal and pass pass pass.

And another moan ill have is we need poachers around the keeper. Far too many times our players hold off around the penalty spot when we can score a poachers goal.

Just looked and the game against Everton is on Tuesday.

One point I left out: We lack consistent quality in the final third. Something that does need addressing in the summer.

Well. West Brom at home, Rashfiord, Martial, Miki, and we didn't score. No excuse.

We have had too many of them games this season and unfortunately it looks like it will cost us top 4.

It was a good win for the scouse today a big step fir them towards top 4 and they will definitely finish above their Merseyside rivals.

To be honest I think we are starting to look tired we have played a lot of games starting to pick up injuries and have 9 games in April.

Jose couldn't get Chelsea in the top half of the table last season and can't get United in the top 4, has he lost his mojo?

This team fails every time a door is opened for them. I watched the Merseyside derby earlier and no worldie save from any keeper would have kept Coutinho's effort out and the Liverpool team played with a purpose and energy that is beyond the shower representing Utd.

Our forward line have been guilty of missing gilt edged chances all season and not just today. Mourinho has rightly called them out on this and they should be aware that they are on notice.

What we could have done with Chico this season, FZZ.

Just some points on the front four today:

Martial looks like a lost puppy.

Rash couldn't get space in behind to exploit the WBA defence because they were sitting on fosters lap.

Miki was poor today IMO. Poor touch and couldn't find space.

Lingard did a lot of running to not much avail.

No Ibra to aim at

WBA defended very well. Maybe we should also recognise that?

He would have easy been in double figures Tuor, he doesn't do all the build up play rubbish, but he's in the right place at the right time.

Jose can't put the ball in the back of the net jred. That's down to the players not the manager. I don't think he has done much wrong to be honest.

Players not up to it, story of the last 3 years.
