Looking at the April schedule, I can't help but feel that the FA is trying to not let any English club win the CL or Europa.
The other European clubs have a lighter schedule and it seems especially the German and Spanish teams are light in their schedule.
I hope I am wrong but it seems the FA is really taxing the local clubs and worry more about their own agenda.
{Ed025's Note - i dont get all this palaver about playing 2 games a week 666, these are finely tuned athletes and should be made up to be playing as it means less training, 3hours a week is hardly hardship mate and it sounds like you are just looking for excuses in case things go wrong mate..

Hard work that ed 3 hours a week.
In the summer they should put footballers and managers on a building site just to show them how easy they have it.

Not really Ed. Just seems the European teams schedule seem lighter. If not then my bad. Wasn't looking for excuses but feel that way that's all.
Would have been good if FA could somehow help with schedule though.

I agree with Ed025. If your team is successful in the Europe and domestic cups then you are going to play a lot of games. No point moaning about it when it happens as it's nothing new.
Fergie started of moaning about it when we became good then so did Wenger after initially telling Fergie to get on with it. Many other managers have complained about it too.
City did it last season and we slated them for it so we can't start say moaning about it now. that's what you have a big squad for and if you have players who can't play 3 times in a week then replace them with ones who can.
There is a small arguement to say maybe teams in Europe should getting better scheduling for the games they play but that will then put the teams not in Europe at a disadvantage, so i don't agree with that.
One thing that could stop would be Monday night Cup matches but the TV pays the money so they do what they want.
Its professional sport so the more successful you are the more demanding it becomes.
