Away from Pogba and Jose for a moment
As it seems that Lukaku is looking for move away from Everton and people have divided opinions on how good he really is - Should we look to him if he is interested in a move to UTD?
Is he good enough? If he is good enough, does he fit what we need at the moment?
IMO he is a Jose style player but i'm sure you will tell me if i'm wrong :-)

Hes got a bee in his bonnet because he's been quoted as saying that Everton had opportunities to buy proven, good PL players and they didn't even try to sign them. and he basically doesn't see Everton as having enough ambition. That is a quoted interview as well so its not just hearsay.
Scores goals, has no need to settle in the PL but i can't make my mind up on if he is what we need.

Id' steer clear personally. Too inconsistent for me and doesn't move enough, if we go 4-4-2 then I'd take him but with one striker we need somebody more mobile if we are to get the best from our wide attackers and supposed supporting midfield.

I'm 50/ 50 on him.
When he turns up he's unplayable.
When he can't be bothered he's a liability and a passenger. We can't afford to carry Lukaku and Pogba. We need more workrate in the team so I think we need another CF who's willing to put themself about a bit and make chances for themselves.

Thats what makes him an uncertainty. Even if he is as good as he's been at Everton, will Jose's formation suit? Probably not.
But i can see him as a Jose player. Perhaps i'm wrong.

I like him but think the guy at Torino is the one for me.
