Seen as though we're talking about City Pep is absolutely wasting his time! He's far to big for the Club!
The stadium is never full, they are still booing the Champs League anthem, he just doesn't look happy.
All this new money, all the new infra structure and resources but I still get the feeling they want to be banging on about having Curly Watts as a celebrity fan, the biggest flood lights in the land, the nicest kit or having the biggest following in Division 2? Their a strange Club and they've kind of become everything they despised. As long as they finish higher than Utd they'll be more than happy!
I'll never understand them. Their all Utd haters really but there's nothing to hate us for at the moment! They've lost their identity, they only wanted Pep because we did!
They'd have loved to have won the league like Leicester did. With a team full of journey men and miss fits against all the odds and all logic! Without their new money and the expectation that brings, lording it up by winning when they shouldn't then nearly getting relegated the next season but banging on about it being typical City and how loyal they all are!
Peps got a seriously hard job trying to change the culture of the Club and it's fans! Good luck Pep! I can hear them all now typical City threw it away again but never mind the lads enjoyed a great trip out to Monaco and Utd are still shite!
I fear their elimination won't do our Champs League prospects any good.

That sounds like you are on a wind up but anybody who knows a few city fans will know that you are absolutely spot on, most of them enjoyed it more in division 2 than they do now, a lot of my mates have season tickets but won't go to the champions league because 'it's all about the money'. I tried to explain the irony of this but it was lost on them.
I think they have become too big too quickly and a lot of them can't really adjust, they have taken a lot of stick from united fans over the years and now think everything has to be about how much better than us they are when really we don't care about them and just went to get our own ship in order for the moment.

Sorry mate your right it started off as a bit of a wind up but then turned into a rant. I'm not sure who I was trying to wind up posting this on a Utd site?
I was a touch frustrated last night I was hoping they'd have progressed and got knocked out in the semi's. Their elimination means they can just concentrate on making the top 4 now.
I'd just read a few posts from City fans on Facebook after the game saying what a great trip they'd had, made friends for life, typical City, but not to worry as quote "we've seen things you'll never see" obviously referring to their time spent in the doldrums and suggesting their some kind of loyal super fans. Their laissez-faire attitude means getting that top 4 spot just got harder for us and they'd all prefer to be taking 6,000 down to Grimsby in Division 2 and singing about how good they are. I've took my pills, I'm ok now mate!
