Not sure where to post this

Just wondering if we have any readers, I'm currently after a good/ next football autobiography/ or a "behind the scenes" to read as I've nearly finished Mourinho "Up Close And Personal" by Robert Beasley. I have read the majority of Manchester United autobiographies via players and managers ie Sir Alex, has anyone also read the secret agent/ player books, are they worth a look at?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah the secret footballer book is decent, as is Paul Merson's autobiography. It's not going to win the booker prize or anything but it's really funny and interesting.

RED Nev- thought gary nevs was excellent - his love of United and that whole thing of being a kid and dreaming of nothing else than playing for United just shines through every page. I won't spoil it for you but when you read how he looked around the dressing room as schoolboy on trial and mentally appraised each kid . he's bigger than me, he is a better tackler than me, but i'm faster, I read the game better. how can I get ahead of these kids just shows his mentality.

The biography about Robert Enke is by far and away the best football book I have ever read. Heartbreaking.

Stan Bowles' autobiography is a great read if you can get hold of it. Genius of a player (even if he did start at City) and, a real lesson in what gambling can do. Even more poignant now that he's suffering dementia.

Lee sharpes is my favourite autobiography of the united players.
