On the bus from Birmingham off to old Trafford for the game tonight. Very excited love a European night even if it is Europa league. I for one hope we win it as ken said in his post below. Haven't won it before and a European cup is a European cup. We are competing on 3 (maybe 4 including the league) fronts and for the first time in years I'm confident that we can make real headway in all the comps. I do not fear the fixture build up but actually look forward to it and it's a long time I've been able to see that. The team is building and if we can get the right players in the summer and play with more pace I think we could be challenging at the top again soon. I feel that there is no stand out top team in the champions league this year and would probably put my money on Bayern/ juve/ real with the potential of psg. Seems that if we can get ourselves sorted over the summer we have the potential for a special team. The players embody the manager on the pitch and I think we are starting to see mourinho's mentality and tenacity through players such as Herrera and Valencia etc. Contrast that to Arsenal and it's clear that it's all about the mentality. Mentality has been our biggest problem last few years and great to see Jose beginning to change that. Onwards and upwards.

We travelled from brum as well park it was fabulous we went sam platts before hand that was almost as good as the game!

Sam platts was quality deano. But delayed nightbus back I brum isn't great. But worth every penny!
