Do you think we would have been a much better team and probably top had we bought Kante?
Leicester look terrible without him.
Chelsea have gone on to become a super team, with him in the side now. I mean those are the same chelsea players of last season, the squad was good but not this good capable of such a run.
I think the chelsea upcoming premier league would be down to Kante and not Conte.
If we did sign Kante, I feel both Herrera and Pogba would be much more freer, our defense more shielded and we'll have been much better.
I'd say Kante is the signing of the season. Again.
He covers so much ground and makes so many interceptions.
He's a beast.

Kante is the best player in the league for what he offers a team. Difference maker for any team.

United didn't go in for him. He's the best midfielder in the league. And Chelsea got him for a very low price. These deals seem to bypass United all the time.

I recall United went in for him but he chose Chelsea over us and others, sure I read that somewhere. Top player but would he have got us scoring goals, prob not, mental block at united, Jose is right when he says the pressure is too much for some to have the courage and responsibility to win, was always going to need Jose to get his own first eleven in to mirror his winning mentality, at risk of sounding like a Liverpool fan next year was always more likely to be our year to win the title.

wrd i don't think utd were ever in for kante, only pl clubs that ed002 confirmed wanted kante were chelsea and arsenal, so not likely that he rejected us when we were never interested in him.

CSM, just saying what I read, not saying it was on here. The reason we struggle ain't cz we've not got Kante, Chelsea struggled with Kante until they changed system, our issues are with converting and creating chances.
{Ed001's Note - they struggled because Conte was using him wrong, as soon as he figured out how to use him, they went on that run of wins. Kante is the best midfielder in Europe right now.}

001 you're right, Kanye was playing further forward at the start of the season and he looked lost. Now he just sits and plays the simple passes, back to the best DM in the league again, if not the world.
{Ed001's Note - I can't think of a better one, though he could do with a partner more suited than Matic, who has lost his form really badly. If they ever manage to get Matic back to his best as well, they would be unstoppable.}

fair enough wrd, just googled it, kante himself said we did try and sign him just we were very late in the attempt.
