GDS2 just for the record I am very pleased with how United are playing at the moment. Unfortunately I haven't got around to posting much over the past few weeks as I am enjoying some hard earned time off during the holidays.

Another great three points picked up against the Hammers and like you said Rashford did very well among others. One thing I will say is Phil Jones totally embarrassed himself and anyone who thinks United don't get refereeing decisions in their favour are wrong.

So please keep your taunts and baiting remarks to a minimum as they are just childish. Although then again I am not a true fan because I haven't been posting much over the holidays so what does it matter.

Jones just did what every other footballer does when looking for a foul, and Kouyate was rolling on the floor after every near tackle.

And I think GDS2 is right, Maze seems to show up more when there's something to whine about.

Cant agree about Jones - I don't think it was a sending off but feghouli is what 11 stone? At one point he was travelling through the air both feet off the ground with momentum, jones was also travelling at speed and they clashed - he didn't catch Jones with a boot but you don't think being caught on the inner thigh would hurt a fair bit, the equivalent to a dead leg but on the inner thigh? I do.

Nobody said you weren't a true fan mate don't put words in my mouth or whoever has suggested that, I seem to recall you were very busy last time we had a good run of games as well, just a coincidence I am sure.

Yesterday we got a referee decision in our favour, 2 in fact, but against Burnley, City, Palace (and more) earlier in the season we were unfortunate with decisions wrongly given against us. Also on Saturday we had a perfectly good goal disallowed wrongly but we scored twice so it didn't make a difference in the end but easily could have done.

Nobody has suggested United don't get decisions but this season you will find we have had more go against us than for us. I said in live chat yesterday that the refs aren't doing it on purpose, none of them are cheating, they are just not doing a very good job, and consistently making huge errors that affect results of games.

Glad you are pleased with how we are playing, must be a happy time in the Rollo / JMB household in 2017 so far.

Come on MAZE, everyone on here knows that you only come out when team aren't playing well or the results are negative. You are a frog who comes out when it rains, only in the negative sense. And how did Phil Jones embarrass himself? it was a crunching and a seemingly painful tackle. It doesn't have to be a studs up challenge to be painful, or is it? Was it a Red is debatable, but then again, with so many decisions that have gone against us earlier in the season, I am certainly not complaining.

If there is a negative to find you will find it that's for sure.

Phil Jones embarrassed himself? What a load of rubbish. Have you ever gone into a 50/ 50 tackle with anyone? Sometimes you get hurt in no way was he putting it on to get a reaction from the referee. Sometimes you seem anti United with some of the rubbish you put.

Phil jones embarrassed himself, there goes any credibility of your post. Also maze it is a fair question to ask why a certain poster who is happy to slate any and everyone when things go wrong, remember how you gave mourinho a 3 game ultimatum of sorts, dissappears during our 10 game unbeaten period.

Guys, it is the new year, so happy new year. Can we not let the sarcasm stop for a change.
I am the only person who thinks that Mike dean was right to send him off. At one stage he was off the ground with both feet off. The intent was there and Jones was lucky not to get injured. Jones is not the type to roll around in the floor. It was a bad, mistimed challenge which fortunately didn't result in a major injury,
The refs have been making more than their fair share of mistakes though. We got on the wrong end of bad decisions earlier this season, and now we've had good fortune from them, it all balances out.

Totally agree schmidfield. We are on the best run in years and there is still nit picking. Get behind the team and let's push for the top 4!

Like most of us on this site I have been on the end of (and dished out) a few if those types of challenges playing grass roots football on a Saturday afternoon, yes they do hurt but for me you truly know when a player is hurt if after the challenge they are still and are unable to move. Was it a foul? Yes. Booking? Probably. Red card? Never. Was Phil jones hurt? Yes, they do hurt. Was it such a bad injury that he needed to roll around in agony for ten minutes? No. Did it help to make the referees mind up for him? In my opinion yes? Personally if I was refereeing a game and a player did that I would allow the play to continue until he got off his arse and got on with the game. Sadly rolling around and play acting is far to commen in modern football.
