Not here to brag or rub anyone's nose in it, but have to say, the athmosphere in the stretford end after them two quick goals yesterday was as good as almost any in recent memories, it was bouncing. Unbelievable. What pleased me most was the way we never gave up. The hunger to win was evident. After equalising Martial picked the ball out the net and ran back, ready to go again. It was like rolling back the years to the Fergie days where the belief was we would win even with 5 mins to go.
I can't expalain how much I'm enjoying watching us play compared to the last 3/ 4 years. Genuine excitement every week. Really good feel factor around the place and we're starting to look a really good side again. Pogba continues to impress me, he's growing into the player we expected him to be. His all round game is unbelievable and he can be anything he wants if he keeps working hard.
The ref was woeful yesterday as we all know but I don't really want to get into that. Special mention goes to Martial for yesterday's performance. He was brilliant. Granted he should have scored before the equaliser, but all game he was direct, beating his man time and time again. Mata also made a big impact when he came on. Everyone is doing their bit for the side.
Ander Hererra continues to impress me on and off the pitch. As a player he's one of my favourites, he looks a top lad behind the scenes too. I think he's captain material and he'd be my choice for a future captain.

Spot on Stand, just like old times. I would have been relaxed with any result given how well we played played but the desire we showed was great. Martial was great, and Rashford also looked very sharp when he came on. Hopefully if Ibra gets a rest Rashford gets to start.

Cheers ed 25, we've put a bit of daylight between the toffees and ourselves now. Tough game for us tomorrow mind.
{Ed025's Note - they are the games you want stand, united raise their game against the better sides but tend to struggle against the lesser lights for me, but things are definitely improving mate..

Without doubt ed25. Not just the last 5/ 6 games which we've won, but the dominant performances against Burnley, stoke, Arsenal and West Ham too. The stats the couple months are polar opposite to last year. Think it was 30 odd attempts yesterday. That's 8 games worth under LVG. Happy days.

Pogba was getting slated on the live chat. Martial looked well on the road to the player we know he is, very dangerous.
Our attacking options are superb. We need depth in midfield and to find first choice back four from somewhere.

The whole stadium erupted when that 2nd goal went in, that's why I said yesterday it felt significant, winning a game like that gives everybody the confidence that we are never beaten and can win any game. I don't remember a comeback win at OT like that for a number of years, it was special and nothing less than we deserved for the performance.
As people have said Martial was outstanding yesterday, never seen him really hit a long range shot before but he should do it more often if the one that hit the post is anything to go by, the keeper would have gone in the net with it ifnit had been on target, so much power. Great to see us dominating teams, pogba is immense, his long range passing is some of the best I've ever seen and he makes it look effortless. He's the closest to Scholes we have had since Scholes and is young enough to get to that level, very excited with things to come, I'm thinking no more Thursday night games next year!

Pogba is more advanced and complete as a player than Scholes was at 23 GDS but if he can maintain it and end up as good as Scholes for as long as scholes then nobody would ever question the fee.
