Whats everyone's thoughts on how Jones n rojo have played recently.

They've played. Both need a good run in the team and to stay fit. However they remain suspect.

Maybe you shouldn't change a winning team in the first place and single out your players then drop them.

Rojo is a liability. in area where no need to draw foul he make clumsy challenges and get himself booked and near panelty area he makes himself look like poor guy who fears falling down. no guts what so ever.

Haven't really been challenged, but we look dodgy whenever attacked. I don't have confidence in them back there still.

It does Ed, but the question was what we think of them and for that to happen they have to play. Darmian/ Shaw much of a muchness this season (Darmian better defensively than Shaw) and Valencia is first choice.
More to do with Pogba and Herrera doing the same job and confusing things imo. But Rojo and Jones is a Calamity waiting to happen imo.
{Ed004's Note - The centre back position has been an issue for seasons now. Hopefully if we do anything in January it's to add a top partner to play beside Bailey although that may be difficult to do in January. We need Shaw to regain fitness/confidence and a run with a consistent back 4 that aren't injury prone. Then in summer replace Carrick and sign a striker. However, we really shouldn't be talking about having to spend 100+ million more to be challenging...}

So true. I don't like Jose seemingly trying to create this underdog mentality, it breeds negativity and gives weak minded players an excuse to go missing. We debated it on live chat, but however we view the sending off today, it was damaging to the team and seeing your manager constantly bickering with the press or being made an example of by referees for unprofessional behaviour can only help fuel that weakness in my view. We have enough against us, he needs to stop fueling the fire and do what he is paid to do.
So much work to be done still, I just hope Jose doesn't run out of time by mistaking the clubs desperation for weakness, Woody is learning to be ruthless and his bosses won't be liking sponsorship deals getting pulled because of failures they have "paid" not to have on the pitch. How much money does one squad need spunked on it to resemble anything like the Utd we knew, shocking waste at the minute.
{Ed004's Note - The money issue is really concerning. Lvg last transfer window has seemingly put us back a year or two. How many players did he bring in that actually look like they have a future here? I'd rather have Nani than Depay, Rafael than Darmian, Hernandez as an option up top. Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger don't even get a look in.
That's why I think we need to give Mourinho atleast 2 seasons. Let him build the team he wants. Still really concerning that over the next 2 windows we have half a squad to still clear out and need probably 4/5 new signings}

This is Jose's united and it's going to take more than 1 window and a few months, agree with Ed Jose going to need 2 year minimum, we can't just keep changing manager, the reason we are stuck in this situation is cz we've chopped and changed managers and personnel. Start of next season will be where he is truly judged and I personally think we will be fine.
