Zlatan looks very cumbersome and slow in front of goal at present, and I don't think that's going to change. We will struggle for goals as we have done all season as Rashford and Martial are inexperienced and are going through bad form.
We won't find any striker in January as they're all playing in European competitions. However, Defoe is playing great, always been a fantastic goal scorer, possesses skill and speed. He can have a great impact if played in our team.
Ronnie won't approve due to the age problem, but he is a top striker in fantastic condition and firm.

My problem with Defoe is he is very similar to the Pea and we simply don't create enough chances for a poacher. Zlatan hasn't been good, but he can link and he is a threat (releasing space for others as well is a side bonus we don't talk about much) . Since we started playing with 1 striker (and minimal midfield support) we have stopped creating chances and we have seen top quality strikers become virtual ghosts. Defoe like the Pea would be anonymous in my opinion. If we played 4-4-2, then they would be perfect, but alone it wouldn't work most games imo. 4-5-1 is the problem, with most of our players having been coached 4-4-2 most of their careers.

Either of you think chance creation has been a problem this season? I think Hernandez would have scored 10 goals by now in this set up.

Yes because I don't base all my judgments on the previous game. over 75% of our games this season we have barely tested the oppositions goalkeeper.

Beast, we have been creating chances, against arsenal stoke Burnley Leicester, on two occasions this season we have put four goals away. Keepers have got man of the match against us! .
Zlatan can be to cocky at times, start rash up front and see what happens.

We created loads of chances against Stoke and Burnley. Zlatan missed at least 6 in those two games.
We had 37 shots against Burnley and didn't convert any.
Against Stoke, we created 3 chances for him in the first ten minutes and he missed them all.
