Popping my old trafford cherry on Thursday taking my son to his 1st game so I have a question we are staying at a mates in Levenshulme and wondered if it was best to get to old trafford via the match day train or if there is an easier way bus, tram etc?

Agree2 Disagree0

If you're in Levensulme then you will need an armoured vehicle.

Enjoy, Deano. Hope the wee lad has a blast.

Train from levy station to Piccadilly, from there there's a train that takes you to the stadium. Don't listen to the haters, Levenshulme is the new Chorlton.

Hopefully you get a few goals to cheer Deano.

Like Danny said we usually meet up in the city and catch a train from Piccadilly. All the best.

Long walk home to Adelaide after the game then Maze?

When I'm in town Betty of course. Having said that I have spent a fair amount of time in the UK in 2017. Probably more so than anywhere else in fact.

If someone could do it then it would be MAZE.

Enjoy it with the kid deano.

Have fun Deano

Personally I say get the Altrincham tram from Piccadilly, Victoria or Deansgate, it's a £3 return fare each, about 15 minutes ride then a good 10 minutes walk past the Cricket Ground and Pubs.

Cheers lads I dunno who's more excited me or him 😃 we are meeting in what has been described to me as a gastro pub called the buttery but after Tony's comments I might wear my stab vest lol.

Just checked and it says there is a train from piccadilly to mufc so will probably get that.

Thanks again chaps.
