so while rooney was having a few to many at a wedding most of the england squad where in a strip club until 4.30
i wonder if some of the players (who had a gamevon the tuesday) including the england captain henderson get the same stick in the media?
i guess this is what jose was getting at when he said

Apparently lallana and someone else made a round-trip to Bournemouth strip club. Nice to see that no England "team mates" or coaching staff have come out to support Rooney. Even jagielka was there with Rooney and some of the coaching staff. He's been well and truly hung out to dry on his own. I've even read somewhere that Rooney was actually up until 1am but the press/ s*n just putting 5am because it sounds much better. Don't know about anyone on here but I've never been to a wedding reception that goes on to 5am+.

It's shocking really Jred, yeah ok he's captain but he wasn't even playing another game for nearly a week, yet he's getting hammered in the press when others are at strip clubs with barely a mention, Rooney is right is a disgrace, I get maybe he should be looking after his body etc but it's not right he is taking all the flak and like supasub says thanks for the support England team mates.

Obviously I'm no fan of Rooney but I don't agree with the way he's been treat recently, I think it's a bit too far. He's done nothing other players havn't done and is been singled out for it, quite wrong imo.

Think it would be best for both the national team and us if no manutd players went for england duty after this palava as a protest.
Id rather the players had the two weeks off for a couple of years instead of playing for such a lifeless national team.
On rooney especially he shouldn't have put himself in that position regardless of what other were doing.

Reading all the flak Roo gets and no other England team players gets or support Roo, I think it's abt time we do what DSG suggest. Do not let any player to the England team. Afterall none really gets. Reddit but it's easy to hang Man Utd players out to dry. Never really seen such if international players in other countries. Most if the managers or at least teammates defend aggressively but NO! Not here.
What a disgrace the England teams' camaraderie. Such shame given Roo has served the English team for so long. Man Utd should not support any players to the England team.

Said it before, we gurn because we feel modern players are too remote and one-dimensional, then gurn when they have a couple of drinks.
