Can't remember the last time I recorded motd and actually watched it. It's depressing seeing our team struggling to win.
Protecting a one goal lead when we should be going for the jugular. When is this going to end?
We've had moyes, lvg and now mourinho and non of them understand the mentality of this club. Draws at home are pathetic, we need to stop faffing around and making excuses and actually go out and win games. Arsenal were pathetic today. They were there for the taking. Yet, Jose decides to stick schneiderlin on to protect a one goal lead and ends up with egg on the face.
It's been nearly 4 years of excuses and false dawns. 4 years of defensive, frightened football. 4 years of not taking risks. 4 years of poor entertainment. At some point, we have to take a risk.
People are talking about top4 but the fact is our record is more like bottom 4.
Rooney getting pissed and having a go at the press. Jose telling us the world is against us and we're the unluckiest team around. Bla bla bla.
Ed002 is spot on. This club is going nowhere. Spending money like it's nothing. Buying average players. Signing commercial deals like it's going out of fashion.
Us old supporters have seen it all including the relegation season but I tell you that even that season had more passion and dedication than the overpaid overhyped rubbish we have at our club.
Ajh is right, the Spanish contingent have more passion than the English players we have. It is a sad state of affairs.

Agreed leehy. We can arrange on making excuses for along as we want. We've played city Liverpool arsenal and Chelsea and got two points. We've played Watford stoke and Burnley and got 2 points.
Wrap it up anyway you want but the truth is that we're simply not up to the task.
Jred, do you honestly think that smalling Shaw Jones young Rooney are that committed? There's only rashford and Carrick who I trust out of all the first team English contingent.

Tbf that poor arsenal team haven't lost since the opening game of the season and I do agree that we should have put them away but let's not overreact.
What would people suggest? Another managerial change? Another £250mil spent? We've made our bed it's time to lie in it suck it up and give it some time, I defy anyone on here to tell me our football isn't better than it has been over the last few seasons the improvements are there to be seen its just taking more time than we expected/ hoped but we must be patient or I fear we will really fall from grace.

Its better deano but it still needs to be better than it is.
We played well in a few games but can't seem to put the games to bed.
We have a few players who need to step up and perform a lot better.

rooney and jones both played well today but never mind form i think both them players all ways give 100% even when there not playing well.
i think one of there positives is that they are committed players .
young also imo always gives it a 100 % .
rojo who gets dogs abuse on this site gives his all when he is on the pitch .
fellaini another who gets stick will give a 100%.
is there a more committed player in the squad than tony v?
mata and herrera are both playing well and ddg always does but to suggest they are our only committed players is a joke .
would ddg even be here if madrid hadnt messed up?
12 games in that's all, there is a lot more to come from this squad .

We played well jred. but not good enough to have the cutting edge to kill off the game. martial was poor so was rashford. and pogba has to do better. now that's todays game and we have to judge them in the now.
Next week i will get behind the first 11 whoever steps out in the pitch for us. and if them 3 players start i will get behind them 100%.

Good last post, Jred. I've no love for Young, but he works his socks off every time he gets a chance. You could never doubt his commitment. Jones throws himself into everything, often to the detriment of his health, but I've never seen him shirk a challenge. Fellaini could have left, but he stayed to fight for his place and prove people wrong. I could go on.

I don't think anyone would say we did not play well, in fact we looked good at times, its more a case of dropping 2 points with a silly tactical decision by the manager that's the thing that annoyed people.

Jred, I didn't say Rojo doesn't give his all. I was specifically talking about the English contingent. Carrick and Rashford are the only ones I trust. Jones is injured most of he time so we can't even include him in this conversation.
We sit in 6th place, 6 points behind 4th spot with a goals for of 17, the same as Watford. Can we keep on saying we were unlucky? We created enough chances against Burnley stoke and arsenal to have won easily, but we didn't. That can't be just luck.
Not for one moment was I suggesting we change the manager, but at some stage, he has to stop making tactical errors and actually make the right calls.
Against City and Chelsea, we were totally outplayed due to tactics.
We also left ourselves exposed in attack as we have been crying out for a speedy tricky winger but we didn't buy anyone. We've been crying out for a defensive midfielder and we didn't get one.
How come a new manager to Watford can get his bunch of players playing well and being one point behind us.

What would you do schmid? Who would you bring in? I think our options are shrinking and I also think mourihno does have us playing reasonably well the improvements in some of the players are off the scale ander herrera for example I wouldn't swap him for anyone at the moment, Juan Mata the player we all thought would be shown the door is now probably our most important player.
I personally think the manager is doing a decent job.
