Nice to see Depay bag two goals. Hopefully this will give him the confidence to crack on.

It is but against a third rate team. I think if the rumours are true and he is off to Everton then as long as it is on loan it may be a good move. I rate Koeman and he may be able to give Depay the chance to play regularly with less pressure than playing for us and that may enable the player to regain his form.

I seem to recall one of the Eds saying that the move to us was too early in Depays career so a loan to Everton may be the stepping stone he needs. What I would be really annoyed about is if he is sold with no buyback clause then fulfills his potential elsewhere.

Has to be on the vench against Arsenal.
I'm quite sure we'll struggle for goals and would need people from the bench to attack and win the game.
Very good freekick from Memphis.

Memphis to Everton, Coleman to United.

{Ed025's Note - that sound fair welsh...if it involves £40m going to everton as well, lets be honest depay is possibly the worst buy ever! and i cant see why everton would want him, we have better in our U23 squad mate, the only good point would be us getting rid of coleman..

Ed 25 that's a tad harsh maybe his mental attitude is questionable but that's only hearsay. We don't see him training. Maybe he wasn't managed properly when he first came. It's a huge step from the Dutch to our league especially for a young player. The guy obviously has talent. Shouldn't a top manager know how to harness it? I don't think Depay was ready last year to play under the intense pressure our team faced. I DON'T know if LVG handled him correctly. This season Jose is under even more pressure than LVG to deliver so he probably just doesn't have the luxury of time to develop players. I still think a loan move is the best option.

{Ed025's Note - its all about opinions at the end of the day hereford, i think he was a panic buy and i cant see how he would improve a prem team mate..

14 Nov 2016 09:45:43
Ed025 as long as u have Lennon, Kevin Antonio Joel Gislain Mirallas y Castillo, Oumar Niasse and your 'on loan' Aiden McGeady, Deapy would definitely be a step up! Especially keeping in mind how you guys like taking on our players, Neville, Gibson, Cleverly, Saha, Howard, Kanchelskis, Jesper Blomqvist and even Sparky :)

{Ed025's Note - i dont know whether he would be an improvement mdb, if you offered us a swap deal of depay for niasse...i would want money as well mate.. :)

14 Nov 2016 10:07:50
Tired of coleman already ed025?

{Ed025's Note - not a massive fan to be honest angel, i think he has gone backwards over the last couple of seasons mate and if i were in charge i would be playing holgate before him..

14 Nov 2016 12:43:43
Haha your probably not far off valuations there Ed. He has turned out to be a flop unfortunately, I was excited to hear we'd signed him aswell. Maybe a new club and a fresh start can bring out the best in him. You not a fan of Coleman then Ed?

{Ed025's Note - not really welsh, he used to be a marauding overlapping full back but now he turns backwards most of the time and for me holgate is a better defender mate..

14 Nov 2016 13:39:38
Nah ed there's been worse buys than that. You could probably find 20 from your neighbours over the years.

{Ed025's Note - thats true mort, balotelli and aquilni were a couple of whoppers who spring to mind mate.. :)

14 Nov 2016 13:53:53
ed025 you lot bought gibson from us, depay is a lot better and you might never know he might come good, he was eredivisie player of the year wasn't he.

{Ed025's Note - he may have been CSM, but thats as competitive as the salford U14 league mate.. :)

15 Nov 2016 10:28:35
Mort,
U just made me think of Ryan Babel, maybe a similar sort of story with Depay? Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama Pongolle also spring to mind.

17 Nov 2016 04:41:35
Idrissa Gueye for Depay.
