Casual, sloppy passing, lack of movement and intensity from us. Chelsea more aggressive and wanted it more. Only thing I can say is that at 2-0 and David Luis gets a straight red for that shocking (and yes very intentional challenge) then maybe we would have wanted to get into the game.
{Ed004's Note - I never expected to get a decision from Atkinson today but he wasn't to blame anyways. The team were shocking and the tactics played a big part in that imo}

Yep. We can't persist with 3 defenders out of 4 (maybe harsh on blind a little), that aren't great at the top level. Smalling showed again that he wanders, he was at fault positioning wise for the 3rd, and valencia will get caught out against a top class player. I don't know what people expect from zlatan either when he's completely isolated and starved.

I had to stop watching at 3. I don't think it was tactics so much as execution: sloppy, lazy defending mainly. We did create a few chances but no one could capitalize. Smalling was atrocious. Blind was not great either. We all know Rojo is a total waste of space. They just wilted under pressure all day. Just before the 3rd goal Hazard must have been standing on the ball for 15 seconds without anyone coming near him. The defence looked sluggish and tired and even though he's only 22, Bailly can't play every game. If I were Jose I would pretty much throw the game against City in midweek. We need to concentrate on improving our league performances and possibly trying to win the Europa Cup.
