Hi all I know this is not united relevant but how can pep potentially consider selling aguero? The guy is the best striker in the league and even though he is injury prone he is up there as one of the top 3 strikers. The media is a joke Jose drops bastian and he's disrespectful but the messiah gets rid of hart and sidelines yaya and nobody blinks an eye. I for one would love aguero at United and I know it will never happen but I'm still baffled at the idea that city's greatest ever player might be off.

there is a lot of talk about augero signing or not signing a new contract been going on for 6 month . could be tied in.

To be honest I expected him to leave well before now. I always thought he was only using city as a stepping stone to Madrid. Good player but very injury prone. Maybe he doesn't fit peps latest tactical master plan. What is it this week 2-3-3-2-0.

Pep hasn't the best history with strikers, Eto'o, Villa, Ibrahimovic at Barcelona were often in and out of the line up. At Bayern Lewandowski wasn't a definate starter until Pep's final season.

Pep's idealogy doesn't allow for an out and out striker, he wants a player with the skill set of a midfielder but with the clinical finishing of a striker.

So it wouldn't be suprising if Aguero found himself in and out of the line up.

aguero has 11 goals in 9 games seems to be doing ok under pep so far .
missed 5 pens tho.

Jred Pep can't go on the field and hit the pens for him. I think the system suits him well when he is fit.

maze
but it just goes to show he could of got more goals .

I agree Jred. So essentially he should have 16 goals so far this season. Seems a pretty good return to name.

Aguerro is City's best player. The only way he'll go is if Messi is being lined up. I take very little notice of what the papers say.
If Messi ends up at City, I'm putting a contract out on him. Only joking.

Imo Aguero has been the best player in this country for the last 4/ 5 years yes he is injury prone yet still manages to be there or thereabouts in the scoring charts.
I find it astonishing that one of the"super clubs" haven't gone for him I personally would relinquish a kidney to have him at United.
