Substitute Zlatan for Greizman and the attack will look a whole lot better. Zlatan has to be told to get involved more often. He's very static and offers nothing. Earlier in the season, he was scoring goals which masked his lack of movement. But now the goals have dried up, he looks very poor.
Dare I say, if Rooney had been playing as an out and out center forward, then he would have been slaughtered on here. But I feel sure that he would have offered a lot more than Zlatan did last night.
Also, during the Stoke match, Zlatan missed three very easy chances, Rooney would have put one of these away.
I think Zlatan is the problem at the moment. He is bringing nothing to the table.

Yes zlatan was poor last nite.
I think if herrera keeps up these performances he could be captain next year.

But is that zlatans fault? Everyone knew he lacked the movement and pace required to play in a counter attacking team so the way we played yesterday was never going to suit him.
Many posters myself included had the same grievances when we brought him in.
Against smaller teams where we can play in and around their box he will be fine.

we could of done with some pace up there last night the way the game was going .
jose said he was going to move rash up there with ibra but got cramp.

I agree with you on zlatan's recent performances, but rooney right now can't control a simple pass that's how badly low on confidence he is, and remember rooneys first involvement yesterday was let milner nearly get into to penalty box for cross until bailly put a stop to it, not exactly the the player on top. If zlatan's going to be benched i would rather see 1 of rashford or martial upfront. Also greizmann is a no 10 or 91/ 2 if u like not a out and out 9.

Csm. I was referring to Rooney playing as an out and out centre forward. If he plays in that position, he'll give us more than Zlatan.
