Picking Milner over shaw is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen, even for a scouser that's a bit too deluded.

Andy - James Milner has been better than Shaw on form this season.
In fact I said a few weeks ago as much as it pains me James Milner may currently on form be the best full back in the league.
Let's not be silly now. Surely we can appreciate when a player - even a Liverpool player - is playing well.

No one has yet said on form Shaw has been better than Milner because they know Milner has had a great start to the season.
Do you want me to lie in order to be 'positive'?

Maze is right, i'm not sure why people are disagreeing. Milner has been very very solid this year, Shaw has had a public dressing down from Jose. I'd much rather have Shaw than Milner but right now Milner is playing better. It's not a big deal.

I don't disagree that milner has been very consistent and has performed admirably in a position that is not his preferred, but it seems vogue on here at the minute to slag our players and then pick players from our greatest rivals and revere them .
I personally couldn't care if milner was performing like Roberto Carlos atm he is not and will never be a better player than luke Shaw a kid right at the very beginning of his career who will go on to best England's best left back for the next decade where as milner has had a few good games at the end of a career that has been the epitome of average .
