Rooney with the assist of the season. Who says he's lacking the technical department.

Rooney for England manager ;)

Agree3 Disagree2

I think Wenger should b3 considered for the managers position if he is leaving this year.

Hmmmm, the term "assist" has become very vague it seems haha.

Yh it goes to Rooney but we all know It really belongs to TFM. Fosu Mensah had a good game, Like a beast at times, he's so powerful!

To be fair to Rooney, the cross from TFM wasn't perfect and came to him at a dreadful height. But TFM had a good game. Would like to see how he fares in central mid-field.

kdevil10 the pass from TFM was a good one. The shot from Rooney was awful. Years ago that would have been blasted into the back of the net with a postcard attached to it.

MH you need to have a look at the replays. The ball came to him at knee height.

30 Sep 2016 11:32:10
It came at knee height which is an ideal striking height. It was a problem for Rooney because he was caught flat footed. A few years ago Rooney would have smashed it in.

Either way we won so no harm no foul.

I quite like the idea of Rooney coming on late in games, not a starter for me now, but I think he could give us something late on if used right.

30 Sep 2016 15:05:45
Supersub Rooney. We could get a mask and cake for him. Protects his identity and stops him receiving bad press.

30 Sep 2016 15:43:48
I agree that Roo would be solid as a sub as he would come in with plenty energy and outrun the competition tiring defense. He is not bad but not back to his best. So late substitution is ideal for him and he would provide some strong charges.

Meant to be cape not cake.

{Ed025's Note - no problem mate...im just going to have a slice of cape.. :)

I don't think lingard has in him for long term plans of Utd.

He is a really hardworker and seems a genuine lad and i hope he can improve on his game but i just think he rushes into his shots a bit too much.
