Something that struck me yesterday with us scoring three from corners . The new regulations regarding pulling and dragging at set pieces seem to have had a massive effect on the likes of Stoke and Leicester who have had to try and change the way they defend them and are obviously struggling.

The delivery was good yesterday, last season blind put in some poor corners and also we have so much more height this season, last season we only really had smalling and then one of fellaini/ morgan/ carrick. Now we have bailly, smalling, pogba, ibra and rashford, its bound to make us more of a threat from set pieces.

Guys it works both ways! Sometimes I watch Smalling and can't believe what I am seeing.

The new rules will work if they are applied consistently. Mike Dean gave 2 pens in first game of season for shirt pulling yesterday he watched smalling and huth do the same and gave nothing.
I hope they stick to their guns and keep giving pens its the only way to stop the basketball like nonsense at corners.

Smalling can't help it. He doesn't even differentiate. I remember that in a recent match he actually grabbed fellaini's shirt to jump higher.
