When we're confident we okay really well. I didn't want the first half to end. Very entertaining, great movement and the players were enjoying their football.
The LVG hangover is slowly fading away. Hopefully we can go on a good run now.
The October fixture list is difficult, Liverpool are playing well. Chelsea I'm unsure about them. Lacking confidence? .
I wonder if we'll see Mhikitaryan on Thursday? Could he play in in the 10?.
Might be an idea to give Riley a chance at LB given how poor Rojo has been with Shaw injured and Blind as our only good option at LB. Datmians ok there but not great and doesn't look comfortable there either.
I was hoping we would qualify easily from the Europa league group and allow some of the younger players to get some European match experience when there's no pressure on them to perform. Tuanzebe and even Wiliams given a chance to perform. There's a few other youngsters as well who deserve a chance.

Does anybody else find Joses post match comments and press conferences sometimes a bit off? Maybe it's a confidence thing but I don't feel he is himself when talking to the press.

He's a sourpuss isn't he, I wish he'd lighten up. Perhaps he trying to get peoe to focus on him and not the players which would make sense.
Hatter, I think it will still be a bit of a roller coaster this year, some great performances, some shock losses. We just need to buckle up and enjoy it.

I find him quite off tbh. Don't see myself warming to the guy at all. He is the manager for now though, so will have my support when the guys are on the pitch.

I also thought Miki wasn't injured that's why I believe he might be having a tough time adapting to England so early on. I am sure I read an article when he signed that his family may have stayed in Germany which also isn't great for the lad.

If everything you say is being twisted and changed to create a headline you wouldn't be yourself either, it's a shame but our manager can't be honest in press conferences anymore. You saw last week, all Jose said was Shaw didn't close his man down quick enough, which was true and honest and the press turn it round that he's lost the dressing room and is slagging players off in public. I assumed I had missed something when I heard all the talk about Shaw, like I missed the interview where he called him a fat b*stard, but apparently not.
The press are scum, Jose has to play it right, that's why he's a bit off, you are better only listening to the ones with mutv, he's usually a bit more honest with them.

Surprising but very suiting.
The media is full of 💩 And with people all trying to look for news putting us down. With the littlelest of nonsense a lot of people will react favorably to the negative news. I find the media appalling some times but then hey we will die if we don't here anything about the biggest club in the world right? Now there is a eerie silence when we played well and what happened? Nobody comes out to praise or glorify our players but so much positive news about bloody scousers. Bloody freaking bias media.
So to me it's just BAU.

Absolutely in agreement gds, when you look at it from that perspective you are completely right.
Also right, his interviews with MUTV are much more warm and honest.
He could just be playing the media and who would blame him with the rags we have as papers.

Then we would get stories or Jose not taking his role seriously and seeing it as one big joke. 'Special one smiles' etc, so he might as well not bother.
