Great game and great score.
Pre game and JM said he hooked Rooney to add pace. Noticed Mata was playing and feel that Rooney is faster than Mata. But look at how Mata added value! It's obvious that Rooney does not suit the starting team and also his play style.
Don't get me wrong. Rooney is good guy but he is past it. He is not as skillful as Mata and he is slower than others. So I am not sure what role he is good at tbh.
I just feel excited with today's performance closing down quickly, pressing aggressive and defending vibrantly. Still can improve in defense but starting to find the right formula for midfield and forward options.
Good work team and great support from the fans. Onwards and upwards.

I remember watching real madrid when they won the la liga with record points.
Similar stuff, streamrolling teams in the first half getting 3 or 4 goals and then just slowing the tempo and getting over the line.
City look ahead of the pack right now
With us, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton on the same level right now.
Hopefully we move ahead of them all.

I think City and the scousers are playing the best football. Followed by spurs and arsenal. Then us.
I think Chelsea will fade as the season progresses.
