So how do we see the game go today lads? Rashford and Carrick start? Maybe herrera too.
I think it's a good chance for us to put those couple of bad results behind us. The world loves to see the turmoil at United and I hope that Jose is creating that us against them mentality to galvanise what seems to be a somewhat broken atmosphere at the club.
Leicester are going to be tough to beat but I'm sure we will do it and build on it. Zlatan, pogba, Rooney etc have such much to prove today, I hope they can get it right today or at the very least show us signs of improvement.

I am worried about shaw being injured and the possibility of mahrez going up against rojo.

With Martial being ruled out, I really hope he gives Depay a go. What a confidence builder that would be for him starting against the champions. He's look more confident already during his time on the pitch and I think he could be a real problem for Leicesters FB's. Having said all this, I'm sure he won't start!

Wishful thinking ports. I think depay is still a few more games away. If he can regain his confidence we will see a totally different player.
Miki is fit, does he throw him straight back in there? Personally I think he starts with a 4 of Rashford, ibra, mata and rooney. I could be very wrong though! Lol.

It could he time to see Lingard back in the side. With Shaw out we will have to play either Rojo or Blind at LB, which ever one plays they will need more protection from tue player in front of them. Which is why it should be Lingard or Young over Depay in this game. Mahrez is too dangerous a player to allow a free run at our full back, espeically one who isn't good enough to he first choice.
I'd have Rashford on the other side with Ibra as our focal point.
Herrera and Carrick deserve a game, both have been very good when given a chance. Probably our two most likely midfielders to play a forward pass atm.

In my opinion I'd drop Zlatan for this game and play Rash up top. Leicester have two very physical centre halfs and I believe one of them (probably Morgan) will sit on top of Zlatan the whole game. If Zlatan doesn't move and stays static he will be anonymous.
Rashford will stretch the centre half pairing paving the way for the runners from midfield to break through be that Mata, Rooney, Pogba or Herrera (or whomever starts) .

Today we need to control midfield and watch for balls over the top using Vardys pace. We must drop Rooney and have a midfield of Pogba Carrick and Herrera. Rashford has to play and needs to be running off the big centre half. 2.1 seems about right if we do that.
